corrosion protection system using Sacrificial anodes. The substructure surface calculation which
areas shall is nh to as follows: Above the mudline, the surface area calculation includes the
external surface area of all members and steel jacket appurtenances nh conductors , fender,
etc. boatlanding below MSL. Internal Surfaces area of the jacket legs Shall be excluded from
the surface area calculation. Below the mudline, the external surface area of the embedded
piles and conductors shall is be included in the surface area calculation up to 30m and 15m,
respectively. A Considered contingency of 10% was on the surface area calculation. 3.3 anode
DISTRIBUTION The distribution of anodes shall is to be distributed cung a uniform current
distribution,consideringcurrentdemandofeachmember.AnodesshalliswherethbePositioned
on primary diagonal and horizontal Bracing and away from complex joints. The anodes Shall be
distributed in a manner than form a symmetrical arrangement m They are covering all the
structural and surface which areas. The spacing shall is be 500 mm or more in order to trnh
interference shielding effect and the between each anode. No carbon anodes shall is be located
closerthan600mmtothejacket'snodes.
