deviation method.
vi. Find the values of a, b and c for the following quadratic equations by comparing
with the standard form.

ii. Solve the following quadratic equations by factorization method.

iii. If Dx = 4 and D = 2 are the values of determinants for certain simultaneous
equations in x and y, find x.
iv. Two coins are tossed. Find the probability of getting head appears on both the
coins.

funds.

takes 8 hours to reach, find the time taken and distance covered by 60 km/hr.
iii. Babubhai borrows Rs. 4000 and agrees to repay with a total interest of Rs. 500 in
10 installments, each installment being less than the preceding installment by Rs.
