GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Editorial policies
Manuscripts will be considerd for publiccation in one of the following categories : Original article, case report, review special article
and correspondence. The official language is
in English language. The editors are entitled to
correct sentences without changing the meaning.
Accepted manuscripts become the sole
property of the publisher and may not publicshed elsewhere without written consent from
the publisher.

Each manuscript should provide :
Title (should be short, clear and informative), follow by the author(s) name(s), the
institutional affiliation(s) and location(s), and
correspondence address.
Abstract (except correspondence),
should be an overview of the article and summarize the aims, methods, results, and conclusions of the studies undertaken, not more than
200 words.
Text, depend on the category of the
manuscript. An original article includes introducetion, materials, and methods, results, discussions and conclusions. A review clarifies
and summarizes the existing knowledge in a
particular field. A case report is a brief report
and discussion of case (s) with unusual
interest. A special article is an article on a nondermatoveneorological subject of interest to
dermatoveneorologist. A correspondence is a
brief letter or note to the editor.
Reference, must be identified in Arabic
numerals in order of their appearance.

style, for examples :

Illustrations, should be black and white,
high contrast and glossy photographic prints,
postcard size. Indicate on the reserve side
(lightly and pencil) the number, name of the
first author, and top of the illustration. Type
legends on sparate page. Original drawing or
graphs should be preparein black ink.
Table, should be self explanatory, typed in
double spaced on separate page provide
number and brief title.
Contributions should be written for one the
following categories :
Clinical trial : an article of 700-1200 words
concerning a drug evaluation. This category
rapid publications and is meant to be a succinct presentation with a minimum of graphs
and tables.
Commentary : and editorial 700-1200 words
in length with approximately five references.
The author may express his or her opinion
without complete documentation.
Correspondence : letters to the editor and
short notes. Contributions should not exceed
600 words, two figures, and 10 references.
Report : an original article including, whenever
possible, an introduction, materials and methods , results, comment, and references.
A structured abstract of not more than 250
words must be include.
It should consist of four paragraphs, labeled
background, methods, results and conclusions.

It should describe the problem studies , how

the study was performed, the main results,
and what the author(s) concluded from the
results.
Review : a major didactid article that clarifies
and summarizes the existing knowledge in a
particular field. It should not be an exhaustive
review of the literature, and references should
not exceed 50 in number. The length is left to
the judgment of author, although is generally
should not exceed 5000 words. Unaccepted
manuscripts will be by regular mail.
All measurements should be according to the
matric system. If confusion could result, please
other measurement systems in parenthese,
the author is responsible for the accuracy and
completeness all references; incomplete references may result in delay in publication.
Forum : Encompasses personal statements,
critical commentaries, letter to the editor. Text
should not exceed 600 words.
Horizons : News of meeting and reports from
societies around the world, a long with short
notes about personal news, prizes, special
events.
Meeting Reports : Brief articles consisting of
personal reports on meetings, describing and
emphasizing the most important and original
contributions. Text should not exceed 200
words.
Drug profile : Solicited review on the clinical
application of a specific drug or group of drugs.
The paper should not exceed 2,500 words, the
number of references cited limited to 49.
Preparation of Manuscript : Two copies of
the manuscripts with CD-R should be sent to
