maintain the traffic flow during the construction of
the road or reconstruction of any part of the road
and bridges for the whole duration. Supply material,
machinery and manpowers for construction of
access roads (detours) wherever and at any station
as directed by the site engineer ,opening or
widening road ,shaping ,grading ,supply and
constructing sub base type(A) 20cm thick. not less
than 8m width ,a layer of prime coat ,a layer of
stabilizer pavement 10cm (7m width) and the items
below includes fixing required temporary traffic
instruction signs as specified by site engineer and
according to the R1 of S.S.R.B.

Cutting and Filling .Cutting in any type of soil ,

The resulting surface shall be graded and
compacted to a minimum of 95% of MDD, and
1-2-1 removing all excavated material to an approved
area as directed by the site engineer. For
embankment locations Supply material and
construct embankments using suitable materials in
compacted layers (20cm) each layers to 95% of
MDD.
Sub-base:
Suply materials and Construction of 20 cm sub-base
course Type -A- (section R 6 of the "Iraqi S.S.for Roads &
1-2-2 Bridge ) in compacted layers each layers to be compacted
to min.(95%MDD) The crown of the finished surface of the
sub-base course and the slope of the finished sub-base
layer of the shoulders shall be as shown on the drawings.
