Museum

The importance of visiting museums and galleries can give us two concepts: heritage
and stimulation. These two invaluable things are essential for the continued growth
of any individual.

Let's talk about heritage first. Dictionaries define it as an inheritance, something that
belongs to us by virtue of birth. Heritage, therefore, is something that was passed
onto us by those who came before us. Visiting museums and galleries helps us to
understand that legacy, and to appreciate it.

Museums and galleries are living, breathing embodiments of our cultural and
national heritage. Museums show us the path of human life throughout the ages by
providing actual examples of how we used to live and how our life was in the times
of the Revolutionary War and also help us to discover how our country came to be.
Every artefact in a museum tells a story for example A coin from long ago tells us
how goods were exchanged back in those days.

In terms of stimulation, one of the most important ways museums and galleries can
stimulate by giving inspiration. They awaken both our natural thirst for knowledge
and our creativity. They help unlock our hidden potentials through their exhibits. By
visiting museums and galleries, we actually broaden our world and our mind, and it is
because of this that a simple tour can prove to be a valuable part of our personal
growth.

Living in a house

People have an opportunity to chose where they want to live. A place a person lives
in, whether it is a house or a flat, has advantages and disadvantages. There are a lot of
advantages of living in the house. The major advantage is privacy. People can do
everything what they want and nobody disturb them. They can make parties and
barbecues. They even can turn on the music at full blast at nighttimes and they do not
hear any complaints. Secondly, the house is spacious. There might be one or two
bedrooms, a sitting room, nursery and even a study. There also can be an equipped
sport room and the sun porch. The attic can be used for living too. Moreover, its
territory usually surrounds the house. There can be a yard, little garden for vegetables
and flowers. There also might be the swimming pool where people can have a rest
after a long difficult workday. Parents can also equip a playground for their children.
On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. Firstly, people who live far away
from others can feel isolated. They have to walk a long distance to see their
neighbours. It is not convenient if people have to get to the job or to take children to
school. In addition, if a family has children, they might feel lonely. Teenagers need to
meet pupils of the same age. Young people are very energetic, so they cannot stay still
and usually they have to do something to pass the time lively. Children might become
withdrawn without friends. Lastly, the house demands a lot of work around. There are
a lot of rooms to be tidied, dishes washed up and floors polished. The outside territory
requires a lot of care, too. The garden needs weeding, which takes a lot of time. In
conclusion, even though a house needs a lot of care, it is more private. There are
more freedoms. A person escapes from the city noise and the annoying people
there. Everyone is free to make a choice

Social network

The importance of our social networks

In the knowledge society, in addition to technical skills and access to information

technologies, it is becoming increasingly important for people to have diversified and
supportive social connections. Although resources and opportunities may be
Available, one may not necessarily be aware of their existence, or even have direct
access to them. In those cases, knowing people from different backgrounds, grades of
expertise, and social levels turn out to be essential. For instance, who among
us has never required a letter of recommendation in order to get a job, or had to rely
on somebody else’s knowledge in order to find a specific doctor? Isn’t it through
word of mouth that many kids get to know about the Clubhouse?
Strong and weak ties
Throughout our lives, we tend to form different kinds of relationships with different
people. With people like us, our greatest buddies and closer relatives, we establish
strong ties that reinforce our beliefs and provide us with the support required to
endure life’s challenges. With other people, with whom we usually do not have such
in-depth connections, we develop weaker ties that help us address a larger variety of
perhaps more specific needs. Even though we usually don’t pay too much attention
to our weak ties, some authors say that it is through them that we become aware of
new opportunities and broaden our horizons. Some studies even demonstrate that,
when searching for a job, in some cases having a wide network of weak ties is
Equally or more important than having strong personal skills.
Teenagers and social networks
In terms of personal development, one can understand adolescence as a time when
young people strive to go beyond local family ties to build a social network more in
tune with their own values and that allows them to explore new things in the world
with their own legs. In that phase, the quality of the human support available, the
different role models that kids have access to, and the kinds of relationships that they
engage in turn out to be extremely influential for the rest of their lives.
Computer Clubhouses as social hubs
Based on the ideas described above, one can imagine that, in many ways, the ‘club’
aspect of the Computer Clubhouse is more important than the impressive technologies
that are available there. As managers and mentors, we should make sure that the
Social opportunities that members experience are really the best for their age and
condition. In order to do so, we should create activities in which kids get to know
more about what happens beyond the Clubhouse walls, bring people who care to
interact with them side-by-side, reflect about the people that they know, and develop
an environment that helps them see the world as a supportive and resourceful place to
live in. What do you think?

Traveling
Many people ponder what they should do for a vacation and I realized a lot of people
don’t seem to share my views about travelling. I believe it’s very important to see the
world and different cultures. It lets us open our minds to new things and we get to
experience life in exiting different ways.

Travelling gives us the opportunity to disconnect from our regular life. You get to
forget your problems/issues for a few weeks; it can also help you figure things out
that you would not have understood without the distance travelling can give you. We
all have crazy schedules, work and a family to take care of, going away alone or with
some friends can give you distance and perhaps even make you realize how important
these people are for you. Like the saying says: we never know what we have until we
lose it.

Another great benefit is the relaxation you get to do. It’s nice to live life to its fullest
and enjoy a stress free time with yourself. Going on vacation lets us recharge our
“batteries” by disconnecting us from our regular life. When we come back we feel
invigorated and we are happy to be back in our day-to-day routine. It’s a very good
stress remover that has a lot more to give than most people are willing to accept.

Travelling increases our knowledge and widens our perspective. To view new
customs, different ways of living is fantastic for the mind. It gives us a new
perspective about life and especially our life, it can help us change some of our habits
or even create new ones. When I travel I usually make it a point to try new food, some
cultures don’t have fries in their diet and they are all skinny, others use spices to give
taste and not oils or fats. Discovering different values and ways to get by in life is
really interesting. You also need to visit exotic new places and discover what this
wonderful world has to offer.

New experiences increase our resourcefulness by living situations you would never
encounter at home; this is great experience for you when you come back to your
routine. I have noticed that people who travelled a lot in life were ready to embrace
change and have a natural ability of overcoming problems that others would frown
upon.

When travelling with friends or family it creates memories for a lifetime. These
memories will create a bond that nothing can erase no matter what happens with the
friendship/relationship. It can also give a new perspective on the relationship and
cement the bond forever. It also gives nice stories to tell people afterwards, you can
create photo albums about your trips and when you feel nostalgic you can take an
hour of your life and experience the trips again by looking at your pictures.

It’s never been this cheap to travel. With soaring oil prices the cheap travel era might
be coming to an end. However there are still many budget airlines fighting for your
dollar right now. With the Internet and all the new technology, you can plan your trip
exactly the way you want it. You can choose your budget, the duration of the trip and
what you want to do. I suggest reading travel bogs and seeing what others are
experiencing, you can save yourself a few hurdles by reading about their trip.
If you have some time off I suggest taking that trip and experiencing what life has to
offer. Don’t wait or tell yourself there will be a better time to go. Take the risk, the
opportunity and buy your plane ticket right now and leave. When you come back you
won’t be sorry that you left, on the contrary you will be thinking of your next trip the
second you come back from the airport.

Feel free to let me know how travelling helped you out, what new experiences you
lived and how they helped you in your life.

2nd version

Leisure travelling has many benefits. It is no wonder that many people love to travel.
It is very common, nowadays, for people to just get away on a vacation trip any time.
Some even consider travelling as part of their routine lifestyle. Perhaps, the reason for
its popularity is because more people have come to realize the benefits of travelling.
People from all walks of life, both young and old, enjoy travelling. Most of the
younger travellers tend to seek for fun, discovery and adventure in their travels. They
prefer to visit strange and exotic places. The older travellers, on the other hand, tend
to look for a more pleasant and enjoyable trip. In fact, it was not too long ago that an
increasing number of older people start to go for leisure trips more often. It could be
that after spending a major part of their life working so hard, they feel that they need
to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Leisure travelling becomes a treat they give to
Themselves for the years of hard work they had done.

Travelling provides tremendous opportunities for fun, adventure and discovery. When
we visit places in other countries, we gain a better understanding of the people living
there. We learn their cultures, history and background. We discover the similarities
they have with us, as well as their differences from us. It is interesting to learn from
people with diverse backgrounds.

Travelling helps to enrich our lives. It increases our knowledge and widens our
perspective. When we visit interesting places, we discover and learn many things. We
discover new people, surroundings, plants and animals. If we want to make our travels
more exciting and challenging, we can choose to plan our own tour and select the
specific places we want to visit. Travelling not only provides us fun and
adventure, it also provides us marvellous insights and enlightens our minds.

Travelling is refreshing and revitalizing. It is a psychological necessity, especially for

people who has stressful jobs. In this society nowadays, many people suffer
tremendous stress at work. Relaxing at home during the weekends is insufficient for
some to unwind. Taking periodic vacation trips reap better results for them. The
vacation trip helps to recharge their batteries and enable them to handle better the
stress they experience at work. After the break, they feel more energize to return to
work. For many working adults, regular getaways help them sustain their energy and
vitality they require for their work. Without these breaks, they may suffer the
consequence of work burn out.

Travelling provide opportunities for us to share our happiness with our friends and
family. When we travel with our friends and family, we create memories that would
last a lifetime. It is indeed a joyful thing to share the experience of a special trip with
those we love. Giving them a wonderful travelling experience far outweighs the
benefit of buying presents for them. Goods have a limited life span, whereas
memories last forever.

One benefit of travelling is that we can choose the kind of trip we would like to have.
There is a wide variety of travelling options for us to select from. We are free to select
the type, duration and cost of travel that suits our interest and budget. For example,
we can choose a two-day cruise to a nearby island or a yearlong trip round the world.
We can also choose to stay in a cheap motel or a five-star hotel. Apart from these, we
can choose to travel as an independent traveller or go on a group-packaged tour. With
the enormous variety of options, there is definitely a kind of vacation trip to meet
every individual need.

Technology has made travelling cheaper, easier and faster. As the cost of flying is
cheaper now than before, travelling have become more affordable to many people.
Besides, flying to more distant places is made available now. Many places in the
world are more accessible. Hence, we can choose to visit more places. Furthermore, it
is faster to get to a place now than before. Thus, we should make use of the
opportunities technology has made available for us. We should venture forth and
discover for ourselves the places that we can only read about in the past.

If you are able to be away from work, can afford to travel to the place you hope to
visit, then you should take a vacation trip now and not later. You can learn from your
travelling experience more than you can imagine. Many times, you will make
discoveries you can never think of. Be prepared for abundant surprises!

Browsing Internet

Well yeah, everyone surfs the internet. It can do really a lot of helpful stuffs. It is
undeniable that people are getting more and more dependent to the internet.

I'm a student. As for me, I don't think I can manage doing any research for
homework’s without the Internet. Library, yeah, they helped. Quite useful, but
somehow Internet is a lot better. Search engines provide you a lot of results. Even
though sometimes the results are not connected at all, web browsers and text editors
have the "find" function that helps you locate a certain word of phrase in an extremely
long document. It is something that you can never do with real book or printed
document. Saves a lot of time.

Apart from that, surfing the Internet is a lot of fun. It enables you to read news and
keep in touch with the other parts of the world. Keep yourself updated with the newest
information on your field of interest. Plus there are a lot of forums available on the
Internet. I'm not really a forummer, but there are certain forums that I do enjoy a lot.
They are good ways of spending my free time. Internet keeps me entertained.

Disadvantages.. as always, beware of the viruses, spyware, tracker, and stuffs.

They're everywhere. Make sure your PC is protected or try your best not to land
yourself in dangerous websites which are full of viruses. Happy surfing!!

computer systems. Computers attached to internet are more prone to virus attacks and
they can end up into crashing your whole hard disk, causing you considerable

This is perhaps the biggest threat related to your children’s healthy mental life. A very
serious issue concerning the Internet. There are thousands of pornographic sites on the
Internet that can be easily found and can be a detrimental factor to letting children use
