12 temperature controller bucholz / surge relays activation
13 Testing of earth electrodes pertaining to the equpt.

1 zinc primer
2 Bimetal clam loose connection
3 Zero copper conductor connectivity
Drop out fuse conduct leaf spring plate temper checking and
4 replace them if required
Check condition of drop out fuse burrels and replace if
5 required
6 Replace all drop out fuse elements by a new one
7 AB switch knives and copper braid connectivity
8 Apply petroleum jelly in knives and bolts
9 Tightens of all live connections bolts and nut

10 Check condition drop out fuse burrels and replace if required


Check condition of 22kv lighting surge arrestor and replace if
11 required
12 Testing of earth electrodes pertaining to the equpt.

Filteration of transformer oil in main / oltc tank by stream line


maintaining 55 to 60 deg . c to withstand bdv @ 40 kv for a
1 minute
Check for any oil leak and replace the gaskets (rubberized cork)
2 of suitable tick
3 Check and replace membrane of explosion vent
Check internal terminal lead wire / strips of hv / lv by opening of
4 top covers for tightness by using the special spanner
Bus duct opening of rope / sides of the duct,unscrewing bolt
nuts apply petroleum jelly and tightening of all solid bar / flexible
5 joints and re fixing of the roof / sides of the duct
Testing of bucholz / oil surge relays by applying 1 kg / sq.cm air
6 pressure
Check condition of silica gel breather housing (1 bsp) and
7 replace if required
Check accuracy level of transformer oil temperature controller
8 and its function of mercury switch
General over hauling of oltc mechanism , opening top covet ,
removing carbon sludges , checking condition conducts and
9 changing gaskets of top cover / bottom cover if required
Replacement of fixed conducts and moving conducts hinges
10 assembly
11 Testing of earth electrodes pertaining to the equipments

1 the isolation by using twin test lamp
2 Clean the outer shell with soap powder
3 Clean the EB and genset chamber
4 Check and tight all bus bar joints and jumper joints
5 Clean the metering chamber and tight all electrical connections
6 Clean all switches ,and checking / out termination
7 Apply petroleum jelly to switch conducts
8 Check the matching of fixed and moving conducts of all switch
9 Check the condition of all fuse links and tightens
Check all switch on/off mechanism and lubricate wherever
10 required
11 Check the castle interlock key functions
12 Check the earth connection
13 Clean the cable chamber
Check all hylum / fiber shroud are properly fixed in all exposed
14 live metal parts
