After the cool down process has been finished, open the oven doors. Check
the smell of the baked garments by close contact (see Remark 2) type of
checking method, if the garments are free from smell; pass the garments
for AQL checking. If the garments still smell, the garments need to be rebaked for another 1 hour and the smell check must be conducted again

9)

Take two samples from each baking cycle, even if the garments pass the
smell checking, to conduct a storage test (with the 2 garment samples
being put into a zip lock bag and bake them in MQAs oven at 75C for at
least 16 hours) to confirm if the baking process is successful this checking
procedure will last for 5 working days starting from 14 Nov 2011 and after
that, a random check must be conducted once a week.

10) If the garments fail the storage test, the garments involved in that baking
cycle need to be re-baked for another 1 hour and conduct the
smell/storage check again.
11) All garments that have been baked or re-baked must be packed in
completely new poly bags and paper balls.
REMARKS:
(1) All garments, no matter if they are intended for China, Taiwan or any
other sales countries, which have only been baked for 2 hours must be
re-baked for another 1 hour to make sure the garments are smell free.
(2) Close contact smell check means that the inside and outside of the cup
shall be smelled in close contact to the nose, ensure to check the
thickest part of the cup.
(3) If there any issues or uncertainty found in the baking process
particularly across the different styles CQA HK must be immediately
contacted for verification and/or further advice.
