Established in Singapore in 2003, Completion Products has developed
into a recognised leading manufacturer and supplier of Premium Sand
Screens supplied to the Energy Industries. CP has had a history of providing
efficient, long lasting, maintenance free products that operate in a variety of
situations. As OEM to a global leader in Oilfield Services, our continual goal

Profile Wires

Wire Wrap Screens have been used for over 100


years for either filtration or separation processes. Its
V-shaped or triangular-shaped profile wire permits
only two-point contact of the particles in the continuous
slot opening and therefore reduces plugging. Principally
it has been this characteristic that has seen the aged
wire mesh technology being substituted. The Wire Wrap
Screen also offers a significantly higher open area than
mesh and hence improves process efficiency.

The available profile wires that CP offers are shown in


the following table. Our Qualified Design Engineers will
select the most suitable profile wire that matches your
requirements based on critical design conditions including
the design temperature, design load and open area.

The support rod offered will be


governed by the compatibility with
the adjacent profile wire used in
addition to the design conditions
required. The support rods offered
come in a range of different shapes
and sizes and for the larger design
loads and temperatures, support fins
shall be used including 10 x 2, 12 x
2, 20 x 2, 20 x 3, 25 x 2, 25 x 3 and
38 x 3 mm.

The Wire Wrap Screens are manufactured using our


highly sophisticated screen machine technology which
encompasses hybrid control technology and patented
resistance welding process. Our screen machine
technology also enhances the interface between itself
and the operator to ensure superior quality control over
important technical features of the product such as the
slot openings and the profile wire to support rod weld
strength.

Open Area of Wire Wrap Screens


Each Wire Wrap Screen is manufactured by wrapping
support rods at various centres with a helically-wound
profile wire. A strong weld is produced at each profile
wire to support rod intersection as a result of resistance
welding and consequently constructs an all-welded
design structure.

Design and Engineering


In addition to producing high-quality Wire Wrap Screens, CP also includes the critical
process of engineering the screen to suit your particular needs. Our screens are designed
to the highest excellence in accordance with industry standard design codes, including ASME
VIII Section 2. Our Qualified Design Engineers with over 20 years of experience in Wire Wrap
Screens are proficient in design work pertaining to wire/rod combination, beam strength,
collapse strength, burst strength, allowable flow rate and pressure drop.
Thats why you will have the peace of mind that your product meets the necessary standard for
whatever design conditions you require.

For more complex screens, we shall offer a detailed general


arrangement drawing and design calculations for your review.
At a small cost we can also provide a 3-D arrangement using
solid modelling software.
Completion Products is different to any other screen
suppliers in that we will commence procurement and
some fabrication work prior to full customer approval.
We fully appreciate that customers are working towards very
tight deadlines and hence the sooner we start on the critical
path, the sooner we can expedite your product.
