Frequently Asked Questions (4)

How do I access the training material of the web based Q1 Manufacturing Site
Assessment?
To access the training material, first log into Covisint FSP and then click on the links below (or
copy the link into your web browser).
The link to the Supplier Handbook is
<https://web.qpr.ford.com/sta/Site_Assessment_Handbook.pdf>
The link to the Supplier Reference Guide
<https://web.qpr.ford.com/sta/Q1_Manufacturing_Site_Assessment_Reference.pdf>

Every time I click on one of the links to the training documents via Covisint or
the web based Q1 Manufacturing Site Assessment system, my computer
locks up. Can you tell me how to access the 2 Training documents?
The training documents are on a SIM server and if you do not have access to the SIM (Supplier
Improvement Metrics) application you may encounter this problem. Once you get access to SIM,
you should be able to review the documents.

Frequently Asked Questions (5)

My request to the web based Q1 manufacturing site assessment is rejected what
do I do?
In general, when an individual's application at a supplier is rejected by his/her company's Corporate
Securities Administrator (CSA), he/she must contact the appropriate CSA to understand the rationale.
Covisint will also provide a link to a list of CSAs in the rejection response/e-mail.

My computer locks up after I open the Reference manual and scroll a few pages of
it.
This is a Computer System problem (your PC, most likely the Browser settings) and is not a problem
with the Q1 MSA application. Close all open applications on your system (except your Internet
Browser), then try opening the file again. If it still locks up then attempt to save a copy of the file on to
your hard disk and then open it. If this does not work, contact your local PC support group.

When I click the "next" or "save" button, I get the following error: "Application
Exception: Please contact the application administrator for assistance".
This is often caused by a session timeout 20 minutes without activity. (Please see
section 8 "Errors and Exceptions" of the Reference Manual).
