The block diagram consists of the main part of the system is the
microcontroller PIC16F877A. All the processes and control actions are done on the
microcontroller. The microcontroller receives the commands from the control unit
is through a zigbee module. The zigbee module is interface with the
microcontroller is by serial port application. The commands that will be received is
processing and comparing. If the commands are by movement action, then the
vehicle motor driver will be activated and corresponding motors will operate
(M1,M2). These commands are for vehicle movement (i.e. forward, backward,
right, left and stop). If the commands, that are for picking the objects, then the arm
control motors are enable (M3). These motors interfaced with the microcontroller
are through a driver IC named L293D. If the robot have some sensors, that are hold
with them. If the temperature sensor and smoke sensors are used for detecting the
fire case. The output of these sensors is in an analog format, and then it will be
converted into digital. So the sensors are connected with the analog application.
The microcontroller has its own analog application. So the feature will be enabling.
If detect any fire condition, there will be another motor

be interfacing with the microcontroller. It for detecting the bomb. All the
operations will display on an LCD module that will be interfacing with the
microcontroller. Also a wireless cam, that will be built on the robot for transferring
the video images.
Zigbee Module
The zigbee module is used for receiving the control commands from the
control unit. The control commands that will receive and given into the
LCD
LCDS serves as a useful interface for the user. The most common type of
LCD controller is the Hitachi 44780 which provides a relatively simple interface
between microcontroller and LCD. The LCD has 16 character x 2 line display
facility. The message to be displayed is send to the LCD through data-bus. A set of
control lines are needed to proper displaying of the characters in LCD. The
operations doing by crane is displayed in the LCD.
Temperature Sensor
The temperature sensor converts ambient (room) temperature into a voltage
varying signal. The temperature sensor is used here is LM35.
Smoke Sensor
The smoke sensor is an optical type detector whose output voltage depends
on the purity of air. The output voltage changes if room is filled with smoke. The
smoke sensor includes an LDR component and an LED.
Metal Detector
The metal detector is used for bomb detection. The metal detector includes a
proximity sensor.

The zigbee module is used for transferring the control commands from the
PC. The zigbee module is interfacing with the PC is through a level converter IC.
Level Converter
The level converter is used for the level conversion between the zigbee
module and PC. The zigbee has TTL logic level and the PC has RS232 logic level.
For the conversion of these two logic levels the level converter is used. Here we
used the level converter IC is MAX232.
PC
The PC application is used for taking the control commands for the robot.
Alsot the video images are playing on the PC.
