Ho, Ho, Ho!

Levi Sugg of Northwestern Energy started a pretty

big project that took all of Monday afternoon. He
was in charge of putting up lights (and the star) on
the Glasgow Chambers downtown Christmas Tree.
Last year we used a thousand lights. This year we
needed four thousand, said Lisa Koski, who, if you

know her and Paully-Wog, have a home that can rival

the home of the Grizwalds in the Christmas movie
classic, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Santa & Mrs. Claus and their Elf will do the official
lighting of the tree at 5:00 Saturday as part of the
Chambers Candy Christmas Festivities.

If you plan on traveling this Thanksgiving Day

weekend, the National Weather Service in Glasgow
would like to give you a little heads-up to and from your
destination.

Basically, if you are traveling towards Great Falls,
Billings, Missoula or Bozeman areas, really be aware
of the forecast and the road conditions. Snowfall totals
taper off as you go north and east of eastern Montana.
Temperatures will be quite a bit colder on
Wednesday, maybe a degree or two warmer on Thursday
and closer to normal Friday and Saturday. The coldest
morning will be Thanksgiving morning.
There could be some precipitation coming back
into the region on Sunday. At this time it looks like it
would be snowfall, and mainly south of I-94, but if you
are traveling that day, please keep up with the forecast
and road reports.

Question: Why are so many new cars sold around
Thanksgiving time?

Answer: Because its a good time to buy an Autumnmobile.

Question: Whats inside a genies turkey?

Answer: Three wish bones.

Question: What did Miles Standish say after the first
Thanksgiving meal?

Answer: Buuuuurrp!

Question: When a turkey picks his nose, what comes
out?

Answer: Gobble Goober

Gotta be kidding continued from front

The teenager made international headlines in

September after he was detained when he took a
homemade clock to school. A teacher contacted
police after claiming the clock looked like a bomb.
In letters sent by attorneys with Laney and
Bollinger law office on Monday, they said if the City
of Irving and Irving School District did not agree
to the apologies and compensation, they would file
a civil action. The letters demanded $10 million to
be paid to the family by the City of Irving, and $5
million from the school district.
Ralph Kubiak, 62, taught Mohameds history
class in seventh grade at Sam Houston Middle School
in Garland, Texas. He told the Dallas Morning News
back in September the weird little kid once built
a remote control to mess with a teachers classroom
projector. The paper reported Mohamed as having
racked up weeks of suspensions over the course of
two years.
Kubiak told the paper Mohamed, the kind of
kid who could either be CEO of a company or head
of a gang, once bragged about reciting his First
Amendment rights in the principals office.

And what about the teacher who was acting in
the best interest for the safety of all 2,800 students at
MacArthur High School? What she was faced with
was a beeping device, in a suitcase, in her class with
wires and a digital timer.

It was perhaps the police department that could
have done a better job; it wasnt a bomb and Mohamed
probably should not have been arrested.
The teenager and his father claims he had been a
victim of Islamophobia.
You know, the kid is already as actor Bill
Murray said in the movie King Pin on a gravy train
with biscuit wheels, even having been invited to the
White House by Barack Obama who tweeted about
his cool clock as well as meeting with dignitaries at
the United Nations, a trip to Mecca in Saudi Arabia,
a trip to Silicon Valley in California to take a tour of
Google headquarters, and an appearance on Dr. Oz.
Clock Boy has actually had a great time
because of it, and now hes off to Qatar, located on
the northeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula, on
an educational scholarship.
But $15 million in compensation to boot? The
craziness will never end. Hopefully the judge will
have some common sense.
