PENDAHULUAN
Perusahaan menerapkan sistem dan prosedur pada kegiatan eksplorasi dalam
pengambilan Conto, Pencatatan Conto, Pembuatan Peta dan Pembuatan Laporan.
Sehingga diharapkan seluruh Geologist bisa konsiten dan seragam dalam
menjalankan kegiatan eksplorasi.
2. PENGAMBILAN CONTO
Bagian berikut ini menjelaskan prosedur standar untuk pengambilan conto dan
pencatatan informasi dilapangan sehingga mempermudah geologist, juru gambar
dan staf komputer dalam melakukan pekerjaannya.

20 Km2, lokasi pengambilan conto harus berada + 100 meter kearah hulu
sungai sehingga tidak terlalu dekat dengan muaranya. Dicatat lokasi project,
nama sungai, posisi koordinat, nomor conto, tipe conto, tanggal / bulan
pengambilan.

2 .4 .1 . FLOAT ROC K (R F)
Conto float dapat memberikan informasi tentang host rock dan keberadaan
tempat asalnya, float sering kali ditemukan cukup jauh dari sumbernya
tergantung ukuran, jenis alterasi - mineralisasi serta media yang membawanya.
Dicatat lokasi project, nama sungai / bukit, posisi koordinat, nomor conto, tipe
conto, tanggal dan bulan pengambilan.
2 .4 .2 . GRAB ROCK (RG)
Conto grab diambil dari permukaan singkapan/outcrop setelah bagian atasnya
dibersihkan terlebih dahulu, conto ini tidak mewakili terhadap suatu singkapan
secara keseluruhan, akan tetapi sebagai tahap awal untuk melihat anomali
geokimia. Dicatat lokasi project, nama sungai/ bukit, posisi koordinat, nomor
conto, tipe conto, tanggal dan bulan pengambilan.
2.4.3. CHIP ROCK (RO)
Conto chip diambil dari permukaan singkapan/outcrop setelah bagian atasnya
dibersihkan terlebih dahulu, conto diambil dengan spasi teratur berkisar 10 - 30
cm dengan jarak interval 1 - 10 meter secara menerus, pengambilannya
dilakukan dengan cara mengambil sedikit-sedikit (Chip) sesuai spasi dan
interval pada suatu singkapan secara keseluruhan. Dicatat lokasi project, nama
Sungai / bukit, posisi koordinat, nomor conto, tip e conto, interval c onto ,
tanggal dan bulan pengambilan.

Conto channel juga bisa diambil dari dalam trench/ paritan jika batuan yang
tersingkap sedikit hingga harus dibuat trench terlebih dahulu.

Peringatan : Hindari pengambilan conto soil hasil transportasi (harus yang insitu).

3. PENOMORAN CONTO
Sistem penomoran dan kode pada setiap conto sangat penting dilakukan, hal
tersebut untuk memudahkan staf komputer, juru gambar dan geologist dalam
melalukan pekerjaannya, pemilihan kode tergantung dari jenis conto yang
diambil dan setiap project mempunyai nomor kode sehingga data dapat disusun
sesuai dengan daerahnya masing-masing, sebagai contoh : BLEG-BG 01010001 (
BG - Jenis conto, 0! - Propinsi, 0l - Lokasi Project, 0001 - Nomor Conto ).
7. PEMBUATAN PETA
Peta merupakan salah satu bentuk pelaporan hasil dari seluruh kegiatan lapangan,
dalam pembuatannya diperlukan keseragaman, baik itu Skala, Legend (narna
batuan, alterasi, kode sample, symbol struktur dll), Judul Peta, Koordinat Peta dan
Arah Mata Angin. Skala Peta dibagi berdasarkan tahapan kegiatan dan Peta dibagi
berdasarkan jenis (Peta Pola Aliran Sungai, Peta Geologi, Peta Geologi-Alterasi, Peta
Lokasi Conto, Peta Anomali Geokimia dll).
