opportunity to learn the basics techniques needed to
get started in fly fishing for bass or Pike. During the From SEAi - Sept 4 to12
workshops of hands-on fly and lure fishing activities,
participants will receive instruction in how to select
and purchase equipment, attach leaders and flies/
lures using a variety of knots and the difference
between various types of flies/lures Some of our
time will be spent at casting techniques while
actually fishing at the sea. Lessons on
how to land fish, catch and release
techniques will also be covered.

These workshops let people try fly or lure

fishing and then decide if they like it
before investing a lot of money in
equipment . Flies, fly rods and all the
supplies needed for the workshop will be
provided by SEAi although participants
are encouraged to bring their own
equipment to use if they want.

Pre-registration is required for the

workshops and space is limited to six people. The
€25 registration fee covers instruction, use of all
necessary equipment, and informational materials.
