2. Login. The default password will be either roomwizard or 79201 depending on when the
RoomWizard was purchased. Your Organization may have changed the password, so be sure to
check with your system administrator if the password has been updated.
3. Select Group.

computer: 4.4_Firmware.cpio.gz
Step 3: Begin the Firmware update process.
Click on the Firmware link.
Step 5: Select Upgrade from a CD-ROM or local file, then select Upgrade THIS Wizard
button.

Step 7: then accept the license agreement to complete the upgrade process.
Step 8: Wait for the file to load; this process takes approximately 3-8 minutes depending on
your network. The RoomWizard web page will show as unavailable if refreshed until the unit
has completed the reboot cycle and is available again on the network. The physical unit on the
wall will display the Steelcase logo screen with a progress bar at the bottom until the reboot
cycle has completed.

Step 10: Click Finish. This will start the firmware install to your RW20(s). During this time,
the unit will power down and become unavailable via web and at the front panel.

on the RW20. This is normal the first time the device reboots and will be displayed for 6
minutes.
IMPORTANT NOTES
The firmware is a large file that takes several minutes to process. Please be patient during
the upgrade as it can take up to 20 minutes to complete the process. Do not disconnect or
stop and restart the update process once it has begun, as it can render the device
unrecoverable. Once the update is complete, the RoomWizard will reboot on its own.

Groups of devices if the RoomWizards have been placed in Groups using the web admin pages.
Upgrade your RoomWizard Group using the same Steps 3 10 with the exception of Step 5,
you will select Upgrade ALL Wizards.
Step 13: Confirm the firmware updated successfully by following Step 1. You can also see the
firmware is updated through the About button on the physical front panel.

3. Expand your Group and select a unit you want to see firmware version for.

of the console.
