1.0 About Artefirma

Artefirma was formed with the intention of bringing high quality original interior design to the residential
and commercial marketplaces.
Artefirma has extensive experience in creating themed environments for residential, corporate, service
and hospitality sectors, with a growing focus on differentiation.
The company now has a large portfolio of completed projects ranging from renovations, through whole
dwelling refurbishments up to larger commercial projects.
The Company services include market research, concept development, preliminary space planning,
production of coloured renderings, colour sample boards through to working drawings, construction
documents and final installations, project management, and contracting.
Artefirma offers a resource team approach, often acting as the prime consultant for a project, which
requires architectural, engineering and specialty consulting input.

2.0 The Team

Artefirma aims to maintain experts from all major design disciplines. The firm employs exceptionally
talented artists ranging from interior designers, graphic designers, space planners and project managers
who are all involved in the full spectrum of interior design, from space planning and facility master
planning, to interior architecture and design, furnishing and artwork selection. Furthermore; they are all

2.1 Key Personnel

Louna Batal, Managing Director, Artefirma LLC., is an active artist designer with vast experience in the
high end design worldwide. She has been educated at the Lebanese American University. Louna has an
extensive experience in the world of interior design business with over 10 years experience assuming
leading design roles in leading multinational design houses in the region.
Louna is a contemporary interior designer, decorator and abstract painter who combine the ingenuity of
an engineer and the imagination of an artist to give a unique inspirational touch and lively spirit to every
project she had worked on. With emphasis on detail and personal service, Louna has always encouraged
the participation of her clients in every aspect of the project she undertakes. Client’s ideas and
requirements remain a top priority when she plans and implements all the aesthetic and functional
decisions. Louna’s ability and vast experience to balance the practical with the aesthetic was the key to
her success in this industry.

Our vast experience, which is mainly focused on improving the quality of your space, promises and
achieves to exceed the expectations of all our clients when it comes to enhancing their life satisfaction
and portraying their company’s image, by pushing the boundaries of what they used to believe was
satisfying. Whether at home, in the office or during leisure time, we have always managed to creatively
decipher the desire of any and every style and taste possible; from a contemporary style, traditional with a
twist or a bold fusion of antiques and more streamlined up to the minute shapes.
Artefirma’s team experience ranges from corporate offices, commercial, retail, hospitality, and healthcare,
to luxury and high end residential. Moreover, and throughout our experience, we have paid deep attention
to the multicultural and art references as being essential in space creation in such an international and
multicultural environment as the UAE in specific and the GCC and MENA in general.

Artefirma team works closely with architects and clients to resolve the makeup and composition of a
usable space. Our services consist of planning, creating, purchasing, supervising and coordinating your
design endeavors. In addition to selection of color, textiles, furnishings, equipments, and all sorts of
materials, our zealous interior design team will also oversee the ordering, installation and maintenance of
all objects that defines a client’s premise.
Selection of break-through audio-visual equipments, interior elements, custom built-in carpeting, flooring
and accessories are all a vital elements we offer.

to achieve success. We bring all members of the resource team to the table including architects, engineers,
contractors and sub-trades, equipment and material suppliers, and graphic designers. Although the
players and the steps may vary, our objectives remain the same: creating themes to realize dreams.

Budget considerations are always paramount, and services are always discussed prior to job
commencement, outlining responsibilities, mandates, restrictions, and schedules. Our design fees are a
small part of your overall investment, but the design package is a large part of your overall success.
