A Recipe For Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an eight inch square baking
dish.
In a mixing bowl, put two ounces of unsweetened chocolate and 1/3 cup
of butter. Put the bowl in a pan of hot water and heat it to melt the
chocolate.
When the chocolate is melted, remove the pan from heat. Add 1cup of
sugar. Add two eggs to the melted chocolate and beat it.
Next, stir in
cup of sifted flour
teaspoonful of baking powder
teaspoon salts
cup of chopped nuts
Spread the mixture in the greased baking dish. Bake for 30 to 35
minutes.
The brownies are done, when a toothpick stuck in the center comes out
clean. Let the brownies cool. Cut them into squares.
