Iglu provide a range of landscape services to clients from large scale
masterplanning to detailed design and implementation on site.
Below is a selection of current and past design and construction
experience of Iglu people.

Prese nt E x p e r ie n ce

Lairdsland Primary School

Iglu were engaged on a new primary school set on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal in Kirkintilloch, providing a range of
services including Landscape and Visual Appraisal, landscape planning advice and detailed design and development. The project,
joint run and funded by East Dunbartonshire Council and Hub West, is an exemplar project for the council, setting standards of
design and space provision. The project has been successfully completed and handed over.

Cumbernauld Community Centre

Iglu are engaged to provide landscape design, detailed
development and implementation, on this new community
centre in the heart of Cumbernauld. The development involves
a range of complex issues including decanting and phasing to
ensure that the functionality of the centre is retained during the
implementation process.

Broadford Skye
Iglu are currently engaged on a landscape project managing
and integrating an existing industrial estate on the edge of
Broadford. Works include soft landscape framework, new
footpath and pedestrian bridges.

Crown Gates, Victoria Park, Bow
Winning entry in a competition to design the main entrance gates for Victoria Park,
including construction detailing and implementation.
St Andrews Links Trust Visitors Clubhouse
Environmental Assessment and detailed landscape design for a new clubhouse and
buggy route across the Old Course for the St Andrews Links Trust.
Disneyland Paris - Masterplan / Fantasyland
Development and finalisation of the landscape masterplan for the EuroDisney theme
park, Paris, including detailed and implementation of the soft landscape proposals for
Fantasyland.
Battersea Park Refurbishment
Management and landscape masterplan for one of Londons main Metropolitan Open
spaces to restore the Victorian slendour of the park.
Murieston Water Greenway, Livingston
Design and construction of phase 4 of waterside development in Livingston including
works to watercourse.
Carrick Knowe Golf Course
Remodelling of golf course to USGA standards to accommodate CERT (guided bus)
route. Works included automatic irrigation, new drainage and additional soft landscape.

Saddlers Hall
Development of courtyard for the ancient
livery company for equestrian saddlery in
the heart of the City of London, just a few
yards from St. Pauls Cathedral.

Public Build / Space

New Edinburgh Royal Infirmary
Landscape master plan and Landscape Assessment for a new hospital on a green field
site which is part of Edinburghs Green Belt, through to detailed design and construciton.
Kilsyth Community Square
Design and future development of gap site along Kilsyth High Street for Supercounty,
including public consultation and local community group / school involvement.
Gorebridge Town Centre, Midlothian
Town centre improvements feasibility study, detailed design and implementation to
completion.

Corporate
Scottish Equitable Headquarters
A new headquarters building for Scottish Equitable Plc, incorporating a framework of
semi-mature tree planting to ensure the landscape provides a sense of maturity from
the first day of occupation.
RMC Headquarters, Thorpe, Surrey
The detailed design and development of an award winning prestige headquarters in
the Metropolitan Green Belt. Paul was part of the DLP team that obtained planning
permission through a sensitive design approach to the site which included three
buildings of historical interest and one Grade II Listed. One of Europes largest roof
gardens incorporating innovative Green Roof technology.

Lesiure Park at the edge of Dunfermline, Fife.

First Stop Hotels, Glasgow

Detailed hard and soft landscape for new hotel development on
the Clyde in Glasgow.

Sainsburys, Crawley
Detailed design and implementation of hard and soft landscape
works for new Sainsburys store in Crawley, East Sussex.

First Stop Hotel, Bristol

Detailed hard and soft landscape for new hotel development in
the heart of Bristol.

Tesco, Lewes
Detailed design and implementation of hard and soft landscape
works for new Tesco store in Lewes, Brighton and Hove.

Kirkton Campus
Development of different stages of Kirkton Campus including
soft landscape framework and detailed hard landscape works.
