Model Answer 1:
Robots are likely to become as ubiquitous as the smartphone computers we all carry in our future
society. While some people argue that robots might have negative impacts in future society,
personally I believe that the benefits of the robot are likely to outweigh the negative aspects of it.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why it could be argued that robots might have
adverse effects on society in the future. Firstly, some people believe that robots will have a
negative impact on the human workforce. The people will be replaced by machines and this will
increase the unemployment rate. As a result, many other problems may emerge such as poverty
and increased crimes. Secondly, people will become more dependent on robots in their daily life
and this may harmfully affect their skills as cooking and driving. So people become less active
and this may result in some health problems like obesity.
On the other hand, I would agree with those who argue that robots will play important positive
roles in future society. The first role is that robots could operate in locations that humans cannot
reach such as exploration of the outer space. They can be act as extended eyes for humans
enabling them to look beyond their visual boundaries. Moreover, robots will be used inside the
human bodies for monitoring their health and undertake surgery. The second role that will be
played by robots is the helping of elderly and retired people with their daily life activities like
cooking and cleaning. Finally, robots could do normal jobs quickly unlike human beings. Robots
don not complain or get distracted or tired. They readily work twenty four hours and require
minimal maintenance.
In conclusion, there are convincing arguments both for in and against the role of robots in our
future would, but I believe that the robots will add many benefits to the future society.

In the last fifty years, there is a lot of technology invention especially in the cybernetics. The
robot has the positive effects for reducing the cost of company and has the negative effects for
the human role. This essay will giving information about the roles of robot from the company
side and the labour side.
The advantage is the robot gives positive effects to increase the income of company. Even
though, the company has to invest a lot of money for buying an expensive robot and for
maintaining the robot, the company will get a high profit since the robot could produce the goods
in short time rather than the skilled labours. Furthermore, the robot also has an effective working
hour. The robot could be operated for 24 hours per day. Comparing with the skilled labours, they
could be working only for 8-12 hours per day.
The disadvantage of the robot will play an important role in the future is increasing the number
of unemployed in the world. Much company will be laying off their workers for long terms and
the final results are poverty, drug abuse and many social comunity problems. All the social
coummunity problems can breed crime in inner cities. So, we do not feel safety anymore while
walking alone in the city center.
In my conclusion, it is a good opinion if we can use robot for the effective and efficient time.
However, as a good citizen, we have to think about the increasing number of unemployee
problems by providing more working field in different industry and acknowledging in advanced
skill.

Full title: Some people believe that robots are getting increasingly important in
our lives. However, others think robots are extremely dangerous. What is your
opinion? Why?
In today's modern life technology have contributed in people's lives in many ways.
Especially robotic systems with artificial intelligence can perform many industrial
duties and getting to be increasingly important for some people. However, there are
those who think that robots have negative affect for people and can bring extreme
danger in the future. These points of view must be addressed accordingly.
Today, it has been proven, that robotic systems have benefited in many ways. For
instance, few robots have helped children with developmental disabilities; others
have improved the health status of people with different deficiencies. People who
have experienced therapy robots in their lives have commented that robots brought
confident in their lives as well as solved problems with their health. The other fact is
that in some industrial countries robots are helping children with deficiencies to
develop faster and have influenced positively to their behaviour.
However, some people consider that robots may be extremely dangerous for people.
One reason for this is that robots have artificial intelligent and they cannot replace
human intelligent in solving different problems. For instance, few robots have started
to operate in some hospitals and it is very dangerous for patients, as robots cannot
be responsible for their action. Secondly, robots may pose the possible increase of
unemployment in the future. This can be evidenced, as employers will choose
robots' work force instead of human beings', because robots do not need any salary,
moreover they will not complain or feel sick.
After analyzing these two points of argument I think that robots should not replace
human beings with doing different kind of jobs, because no machine can replace
human intelligence as well as cannot be responsible for their action. Moreover
production of high number of robots can increase unemployment rate in the
countries.

Here are some corrections:

In today's modern life technology have has contributed in to people's lives in many
ways humans on many levels. Well, also 20 years ago techn. helped a lot, so no
need to justify time track. Especially For example, robotic systems with artificial

intelligence can perform many industrial duties and getting are becoming
increasingly important for some people. However, there are those some people think
that robots have negative aeffect (result, right?) on people and can bring extreme
danger in the future. These points of view must be addressed accordingly.
Today, it has been proven, that robotic systems have benefited in many ways. You
are copying first line. People who have interacted with therapy robots in their lives
have commented that robots brought confident in their lives as well as solved
problems with their health. The other fact is that in some industrial countries robots
are helping children with deficiencies to develop faster and have influenced
positively to their behaviour. Which countries? What was children's benefit? Be
specific.
This can be evidenced, as employers will choose robots as a work force instead of
humans, because robots do not need any salary, moreover they will not complain or
feel sick.
After analyzing these two points of argument I think that robots should not replace
human beings with by doing different kind of jobs, because no machine can replace
human intelligence as well as cannot be responsible for their action.
Your essay has some good ideas, however they are not expanded, as they should
be. Try to look widely; how will robot replace human feelings? Etc.
Moreover, you need to be more specific. Which "few robots"? Instead of writing "For
instance, few robots have started to operate in some hospitals", write: "For instance,
at Japan, robots have already replaced doctors in capital hospitals" ...

One of the major problems facing the world today is the growing number of
refugees. The developed nations in the world should tackle this problem by
taking in more refugees. To what extent do you agree with this opinion?
There is little doubt that the issue of refugees is a global problem. While it most
immediately affects developing nations, there is a strong argument that industrialised
countries should help by allowing higher levels of immigration. This is certainly not an
easy issue though, because historically immigration has caused as many problems as it
solves.
The principal reason why developed nations should help is that we now live in a global
village and it is no longer possible to ignore what happens on the other side of the world.
This is partly a moral issue and partly because it is in the economic self-interest of
industrialised nations to ensure that developing nations continue to progress. A
practical way of achieving this would be to accept more immigration, particularly when
it is caused by natural disasters or civil war.
I would argue, however, that this is not an open and shut case, as there is a negative side
to mass immigration. The multi-cultural experiments in Europe have not always
succeeded and immigrants have often suffered badly from racism and other prejudices.
On a practical level, refugees are sometimes better off receiving aid in their native land
than begging on the streets in a country where they cannot speak the language. Many
so-called economic migrants end up returning to the country of their birth.
My personal conclusion is that developed nations should agree to take in more refugees,
but only in restricted numbers and in extreme cases. I also believe that there needs to be
a global effort to provide aid to solve the problems that cause emigration. Prevention is
as they say better than cure.

One of the major problems facing the world today is the growing number of
refugees. Developed nation of the world should tackle this problem by taking
more refugees. To what extend do you agree or disagree? Use your own idea,
knowledge and view.

The number of refugees has grown to the point where truly it is a global problem and
affects all of the nations. To solve this problem it is agreed that developed countries
should help by allowing high level of immigration.
To escape from conflict, persecution and natural catastrophes, millions of refugees
seek asylum to overdeveloped countries. One principal reason of why rich
developed nations should permit more refugees is that it is a humanitarian issue
because they suffer from hunger, ill health, security threat, and unemployment.
Moreover, irrefutably world agitation and economical crisis both are linked with
refugee problems as well as the refugees are creating chaos throughout the world
for the protection of their existence. Thereby, civilized nations, by giving them a
chance of settlement, can establish economical stability and world peace.
In addition, Host countries also receive indispensable benefits by allowing more
refugees emigration. The newly Immigrants not only can contribute to the diversity of
that society, which can help with tolerance and understanding but also immigrants
offer an increased talent pool which is help to enhance host country's economy.
However, it is argued that it is not an open and shut case as there are numerous dire
consequences of mass emigration. The multicultural experiments have not always
been succeeding in Europe and emigrants have often suffered badly from racism
and others prejudices. Furthermore, fugitives can also attract criminal elements,
from trafficking in drugs and people to other forms of crime and corruption.
To sum up it is clearly seen that for host countries, refugee migration is not only
create few problems but also they need support to survive. So, overdeveloped
nations should agree to give them shelter. It is recommended that the whole world
should work together to solve the prolems which create emigration.
