CouldyoupleasecheckwhatcanbedonewithPVElite2009versionsothatIcanmeet

TheResponseSpectrumoptioninPVEliteisagenericone(exceptforfewcodes).
Thereisnoresponsemodificationorimportancefactorwhenusingtheuserdefined
spectrum(thatiswhatyouwilluse).
Somevaluesareghostedoutdependingonthetypeofspectrumselected.Ifthe
spectrumisASCE,theappropriatevalueswilllightup.
So,ifyouareusingtheIS18932005,youhavethesitespectrumthenusesection
8.3.1tomodifythesitespectrumusingtheRandIfactors.
Ah=(Sa/g)/(R/I)
Then,inputtheAhintheprogramasthedesignspectrum.Ifyouareusingthecode
specificspectrumthenreferto8.3.2.
AnotherrequirementintheIS1893std.isthat30%ofresponsefromtheother
orthogonaldirectionshouldalsobeconsidered(7.3.2.1).To,implementthis,inthe
ShockScalefactorfieldputin1.3forXdirand0.3fortheYdir(verticaldirection).
Thesefactorswouldmodifythespectrumtoaccountforthedirectionality.
