Position Information
1.Design develop, and produce art work for a wide variety of marketing materials
2.Develop, design, and produce displays for meetings, presentations, trade shows, and
other events
3.Create illustrations and logos
4.Perform photography work (graphic design, events, etc.) for publication in newsletters or
inclusion in reports
5.Monitor all stages of production to complete projects (design the work and incorporate
others' ideas)
6.Coordinate all aspects of producing marketing materials
7.Advise and consult with vendors (photo labs, photographers, printers, etc.)
8.Produce bid specifications, documentation, and contracts for vendors
9.Assist in the planning and development of advertising/promotional campaigns/strategies
10.Design and edit newsletters for internal and external use
11.Develop and update Intranet and Internet web sites
12.Use computerized graphic software to produce final product
13.Train and assist department personnel and other divisions on computer programs
14.Plan, conduct, and lead assignments and projects.
15.Work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and
initiative are required in resolving
problems and making recommendations.
16.May have primary responsibility for larger individual projects or act as an art director for
client programs.
17. May act as a liaison on behalf of these programs.
18.Assist with the development of long range strategic marketing plans.
Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to
explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, that the
essential functions of the job can be performed.
Use broad and comprehensive knowledge of marketing practices and procedures, design
principles, and media industries.
Possess a strong understanding of critical thinking, advanced visual problem-solving skills,
conceptualization and project management abilities.
