Job Objective:
Develop new business opportunities in the midstream sector of the oil and gas business. This includes
adding business to existing assets as well as acquiring and/or building entire systems. This position will
report to the President of Harvest Pipeline. It will be part of a team responsible for the marketing of
Hilcorp Energys equity production, and building the midstream business development within Harvest
Pipeline Company. The midstream business includes oil and gas pipelines, barging, handling,
processing and treating facilities.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Manage business development on existing assets. Primary business manager on a portion of Harvests
crude and gas assets with focus on the Utica. Develop already defined opportunities to build a sizeable
midstream business. Maintain base revenue and grow new business. Develop and grow customer
relationships to create business value. Coordinate with engineering and operations to develop projects
and manage customer issues that arise. Understand customer alternatives and competitive forces in the
area. Interpret and negotiate contracts, operating agreements and other legal documents. Run
economic evaluations to compare options. Originate new business opportunities. Work with team to
help develop strategy and opportunities for new ventures. Develop industry relationships to help find
opportunities. Research and stay current on industry development. Pursue and analyze new venture
opportunities. Conduct due diligence assistance on midstream acquisitions. Enhance marketing value
by developing long-term market solutions as required. Assist in the negotiation of long-term market and
processing arrangements. Adheres to the companys values integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment
and innovation. Supports company vision and mission.
Qualifications:
20+ years experience in the oil and gas business. Direct experience with midstream business
development and oil & gas marketing.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from and accredited four-year university or college.
MBA preferred.

Job Objective:
Interprets, integrates, and evaluates subsurface geologic data to evaluate oil and gas acquisition
and development opportunities for the company.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Identifies exploration opportunities and quantifies development targets on producing property
acquisitions; supports A & D evaluations engineer in team evaluation of property acquisitions
and reserve booking. Interprets and evaluates subsurface geologic data to construct integrated
maps, cross sections, and other geologic displays defining subsurface structure, reservoir
geometries, net sand and pay, hydrocarbon pore volume and other essential economically
significant interpretations. Obtains, manipulates, and interprets computer databases and
mapping programs consistent with established company mapping standards. Obtains and
interprets well log correlation and interpretation, petrophysical analysis, interpretation of
seismic data, field specific geologic interpretation of known producing traps and trap types,
structure and producing intervals to define drilling, recompletion, and workover economic
objectives. Assesses the potential and economic viability of external generated proposal for the
company. Presents geologic work to obtain external capital resources. Strong Business
Acumen.
Qualifications:
Fifteen (15) years minimum experience in geological oil and gas development and/or
exploration, and a proven ability to generate multiple investment opportunities. Experience in
multiple basins, particularly the Gulf Coast. Working knowledge and some practical experience
of the role and job responsibilities of Reservoir and Operations Engineers, Landmen, and other
company professionals in order to accomplish team goals. Ability to integrate and synthesize
geologic interpretations to generate economically justified investment opportunities for the
company. Ability to accurately solve problems. Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call
for questions, emergencies, etc.). Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public. Ability
to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized
and presentable manner. Project management, administrative, and organizational skills. Ability
to evaluate large volumes of data in a short time period and synthesize the material into a
concise, cogent interpretation for presentation to Senior Management.
