Introduccin
Desde 1945 se ha intentado definir, de manera apropiada, un producto interior
no-arquimedeano y con ello un espacio con producto interior no-arquimedeano.
Estos espacios muestran una cercana analoga con los espacios de Hilbert clsicos
pero, al contrario de estos, no son ortomodulares: es decir, dado X espacio de

En este captulo presentamos nociones y resultados bsicos necesarios para
comprender la teora que en esta tesis se presenta. Definimos los conceptos
de espacios y campos ultramtricos, espacios de tipo contable, como tambin
el de espacio de Banach no-arquimedeano y base. En particular, se dedica una
seccin al estudio del espacio de Banach c0 (I), y se muestra un resultado clave
para el desarrollo de este trabajo.
