Computer Systems Servicing NC II

Introduction
The Computer Hardware Servicing NC II was finally abolished last
August this year as one of the curriculum offered by the school as
mandated by the TESDA, to give way to the new curriculum. As of now,
the school still waiting for the approval by TESDA RIX as to implement the
new registered course.
As per advice by the authority to migrate former Computer
Hardware Servicing NC II course into Computer Systems Servicing NC II.
In these development, there should be an additional of equipment, tools,
and supply as listed below. This condition was already put into papers and
submitted for approved budget programs.
To meet the required demand for computer servicing, the school has
opted to offer computer systems servicing to meet the requirement
globally. This new program has open the path for a brighter future as the
technology expand for those student who could not pursuit to study at the
city proper.

Activities:

The CSS First year student doing their task in practical application in configuring
network utp cable.

This is another milestone in history in this institution to produce


another course globally competitive in repair and maintenance of personal
computer or simply PC, and networking. The Pioneer, as what the student
of Computer Systems Servicing NC II called themselves, envision to be a
computer technicians or entrepreneurs of Networking games cafe , thus
they are efficiently, effectively trained on computers repair and
maintenance techniques using all the available resources.

The student of Computer Systems Servicing Pioneering program


focused more on competencies that posses to diagnose and troubleshoot
problems (includes hardware and software related problem), replace parts
and get the systems back to normal operation.
This program is designed to meet such demand to cater home
service, community, and industry both local and international. The
students of this program will focus more on skills development in four core
competencies as a standard found in the training regulation set by
Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as their major
subject. This subject are designed in modular form, were forty (40)
percent are lectures and sixty (60) percent hands-on. The core subjects
under these programs are: Install and configure computer systems, Set-up
computer networks, Set-up server, and maintain and repair computers
systems. Related subjects such as on the first semester are Fundamentals
of Computer (includes practical exams on typing, and History of
computers), English 101, Basic Electrical and Electronics, National Service
Training Program I (Civic Welfare
Training Program), Physical education 1,
applied
Mathematics,
and
lastly,
Technical Drawing 101; this includes
prepare
and
interpret
technical
drawing, such as the dimensions of the
key features of the objects depicted in
the drawing are correctly identified ,
and lastly, Prepare/make changes to
electrical/electronic schematics and
drawings.
