CCCNJ Weekly Prayer Requests

Scripture: "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be
gracious to you; The LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."。(Number 6: 24 -26)

Weekly Theme: “Ministry of Children”

1. Pray for the children ministry led by Sharon Huwang.
2. Pray for the Children core team and the ministry which the team is in charge.
3. Pray for our younger generation to honor and obey parents in the Lord.
4. Pray for the Children Sunday School teachers, and coworkers.
5. Children are a gift from God. Pray that God would help parents to nourish and discipline their
children according to God’s will.
6. Pray God that He will raise more faithful, humble, and spirit-filled brothers and sisters to
participate in the children ministry.
7. Pray for the Mission organizations﹕ Far East Broadcasting; Missionaries﹕ Rev. Lieu S.P.,
and Seminary student﹕Wey Wang (Nyack); also pray for the peace and safety of those brothers
and sisters who are on overseas short-term missions.

---English and Youth Ministry: Please pray for

1. Janas and Sunny as they preach and chair respectively this coming Sunday.
2. Good Friday, baptism, and Easter Service this weekend (& preparations).
3. Taiwan , Kyrgyzstan, and LSCC’s Nagaland mission trips as they start planning and preparing.
4. People to help out in MS/HS ministry (summer Sunday School, MS boys/girls Friday nite
program).
5. People attending the Christianity in America Sunday School may sense God’s hand in their life.
--- Children Ministry:
1. Please pray for two-year-old Sunday School teacher: Veronica Hsiao; assistant: Haili Wu and
three-year-old Sunday school teacher: Katy Hsieh; assistant: Terry Xu. Pray that the Lord give them
strength as they plant the seeds in children’s faith.
--- People: Please pray for
1. Healing for: Kent, Mauro Mordini, Steve & Wenny (car accident), Janiene (panendoscopy
April 7), Mr. Wu Yi Jian (Mandarin grp, colon cancer surgery April 9)
2. Kristal Hang: decision to go to BU grad school, on scholarship…PTL
3. Shannon: getting US passport with no problems, in a way that God is glorified.
4. Baptismal candidates: 1 adult, 1 college, 3 youths.
5. DingRong as she adjusts and takes care of the estate.
6. Johnny Lee
7. Jack, Emily, and Annabelle Hui
8. Gene, Rosita, and Jazmin Hsu
--- National: Please pray for
1. Overall seemingly society has gotten ‘darker’, e.g., Japan’s video game unleashed on internet, as
well as locally, many schools dealing with threats of violence. Pray for safety of our students in their
schools.
2. Flooding in many areas of northeast and impact on families.
