Index of Scottish literature in translation. As well as poetry, drama and prose writing, BOSLIT records translations of
material from the oral tradition, together with works by Scottish historians, philosophers,scientists, theologians and
others whose works have aesthetic, intellectual and cultural significance

Index to works held by the National Library of Scotland that were directed at those intending to settle in what is now
Australia and New Zealand, ranging from the early 19th to the late 20th centuries. The data includes some travel
accounts and descriptive works on countries, states and provinces, but only where these are considered for emigration;
it does not include pamphlets or other more general works about the need for emigration schemes.

individual letters of emigrants from Scotland in their host countries written to friends or relatives at 'home'. If existing,
letters from friends or relations in Scotland are also noted, as are some manuscripts, correspondence or papers relating
more generally to the subject of emigration

Details of the most important rare book items the National Library of Scotland has acquired since 2000. The description
gives information about why items were chosen and what makes them particularly interesting.

New Guinea or Oceania) by Scots, ranging from the 18th to the 20th century. It does not include personal accounts or

dramatist or thinker, and published since 1988.
An index of printers, publishers, booksellers, bookbinders, printmakers, stationers and papermakers who were based in
Scotland in the 16th and 17th centuries.
An index to collections of significant size received to date by the National Library of Scotland in the field of Scottish
labour and trade union history, including personal papers of individuals active in these movements.
