Supply and installation of delinators (Double sided )(road way indicators ) not less

construction which shall be made of tough ,high impact resistant ,injuction
moulded ,thermoplastic outer body.The inner core shall consistant of power coated

moulded from HIPS (Hi-Impact polystyrene) or ABS or ASA (Acrylic Strene
Acrylonitrite) and refectve panels shall consists of number of lenses containing
single or dual prismatic cubes capable of provoding total internal reflection of the
light entering the lens face and confirming to ASTM ,BS and complying to guide
lines issued by MOST Circular No. RW/NH-33023/10/97 DO III Dt. 11-06-1997. The
hight ,width shall not exeed 20 mm,130 mmm and the area of the each retro
reflecting surface shall not be less than 13 sqcm and the slope of retro reflecting
surface shall preferably be 35 +/-5 degree to base.Fixing will be without nails and the
reflective marker shall be fixed to the road surface using adhesives,and the
procedure recommended by the manufacturere and as per para 6.2 of the MOST
Circular including cost and conveyace os all materials, equipment, machinery and
labour with all leads and lifts,loading charges site clearence etc. and complete
necessery for sucesseful completion of the work

Original Estimate Amount Rs. 454.79 Lakhs
Working Estimate Amount Rs. 476.98 Lakhs
The origional estimate for the above work is sanctioned for Rs. 454.79 lakhs vide Job No. TA-565AP-2014-15-589 Dt. 02-03-2015 (SOR 2013-14) and entrusted to Sri. G.S.V .Narayana Rao, contractor,
Yerragondapalem vide L.S Agt. C R No. 16/2015-16 dt. 26.06-2015 with an excess TP of 4.75 % over
estimate contract value .
The stretch from km 148.800 to 154.900 is single lane carriage way. Due to heavy cement loads
traffic and rains, the existing carriage way is sunken at some places and deep pot holes formed and edges are
broken .The Chief Engineer NH &CRF,Andhra Pradesh ,Hyderabad has inspected the road on 21- 07-2015.
According to the site conditions,and actual requirements, the working estimate is prepared duly
incorporating the necessery deviations with the following provisions.
Tack coat: In the original estimate the tack coat quantity is erroneously shown as 63090 sqm. instead of
95464 sqm.. In the sanctioned estimate, BC is approved for 9078 mts .length and tack coat provided for a
length of 1080 mts. Hence,deviation is found necessery.
Bituminous Macadam: In the original estimate, Bituminous Macadam is provided from km 133.922 to
135.00,km 135.600 to 142.900 , Km 148.800 to 150.270 and Km 152.200 to 152.400.Due to damage of the
road and edges, BM is provided to an extra length of 600 mts.for full width to 111.80 cum and a quantity of
about 33.00 cum is provided for pot holes,camber correction,sunken portions and edges etc..
The remaining provisions are unalterd and the working estimate is arraived for Rs. 476.98 Lakhs as
against the sanctioned estimate amount of RS. 454.79 lakhs which is worked out @ 4.831% excess over
estimate cost..
The Working estimate is prepared based and agreement rates and conditions and the work will be
carried out as per the MORTH specifications for road and other Ministrys instructions and guide lines
issued from time to tim

Chief Engineer (R&B) CRF & NH A.P. ,Hyderabad.
HISTORY,NECESSITY, TERRAIN, CLIMATE Etc.,:The road starting from Nakrekal on NH -65,
connecting Nalgonda, Marcherla, Errugondapalem Kanigiri, Rapur, Venatagiri, and terminating at its
junction with NH 71 near Erpedu is newly declared as National Highway-565 vide Ministry of Road
Transport and Highways Notification Dt. 22-03-2013 .This NH -565 road is an important connecting
several number of villages and towns in ,Nalgond.Guntur,Prakashm and Nellore Districts in Andhra
Pradesh. All these districts are having good potential for Industrial , and abundant mineral resources. There
is also a very important Pilligrim place of Lord Shiva in Srisailam connecting this road which is having
always worthy of traffic from all places in the State
The NH-565 starts at km 86.057 in Guntur district and from km 86.057 to 133.922 and from km
154.900 to 198.694 ,the EPC works are sanctioned with 2 packages for " Rehabilitation and upgradation of
National Highway No. 565 from Km.86.057 to Km.133.922 (Nagarjuna Sagar Dam to Davulapalli section)
(I st package ) and from km 154.900 to 198.694 ( Davupalli-Markapuram Section ) (2nd package ) to two
lanes with paved shoulders in the State of Andhra Pradesh under NHDP-IV through Engineering
Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis contract and Agency settled and preconstruction activities are in
progress.As the stretch from km 133.922 to 154.900 is running in forest area,the stretch is not included
under NHDP project through EPC basis.Hence,the stretch is approved for taking up under PR/IRQP under
Non Plan Sub-Head for 2014-15 by the MORT&H,New Delhi..
The stretch from km 133.922 to 154.900 is passing in Forest area and at some place in Hill
area .Due to forest area, permission is not allowing for doing formation of the road with side soils. The
stretch is 3.66 m width having a formation width of about 8.00 m to 10.00 m and the land is belongs to
Forest Authority and there is no ROW .The strech from km 133.922 to 143.000 is running in Guntur
District, which is last renewed during 2007-2008 by (R&B) Department as per the informatiom of the
regular (R&B) Divisions .Due to single lane road, the road is in bad codition due to traffic and seasonal rains
.The berms are very low and due lack of renewal since 2007-2008 from km 133.922 to 143.000 tha road is
damaged badly. The stretch in Prakasham District from km 143.000 to 148.800 is last renewelad in 2012-13 ,
and from km 148.800 to 154.900 is last reneweled between 2009-10 to 2011-12 with small ,small
stretches.This stretch is also with low berms and to be filled and formed the entire stretch with selected soils.
As there is no gravel quarry near by side and hence berms are proposed with selected soils with an average
lead of 20 kms .As per the site conditions,the estimate is prepared from km 133.922 to 154.900 except the
stretch from km 143.000 to 148.800 underPR/ IRQP Programme.
According to the site conditions,and actual requirements, the estimate is prepared duly attending the
suggestions given by the higher authorities with the following provisions.
There are tribal villages of Davupalli, Murikimalla tanda,Narajamula tanda Komarole etc. are covering on
this reach and useful for uplift of the tribal people.
SPECIFICATION FOR THE PAVEMENT COURSE:
b)Wet mix Macadam ; :W.M.M for a thickness of 150mm is proposed as per the MOSRT &H Specification
Tack coat: Tack coat with Bituminous Emulsion as per MORT&H Specification No. 503 using 0.20 Kgs
No .406 From km 206/0 to 207/2 and km 210/0 to 212/0
per 1 Sqm for BM and to the entire strech of BC .
Dence Bituminous Mecadam: Dence Bituminous Mecadam 50mm thick is proposed from km 133.922 to
135.00,km 135.600 to 142.900 , Km 148.800 to 150.270 and Km 152.200 to 152.400 as per MORT&H
Specification No.507 with using bitumen 60/70 Grade in the selected streatches.
Bituminous Concrete: Wearing Course with bituminous concrete 30mm thick is proposed from km
133.922 to 143.000 and km 148.800 to 154.900 as per MORT&H Specification No. 509 using 5.5%
bitumen with CRMB 55 grade bitumen.
Shoulders :- Earthen Shoulders with selected soils and embankment formation with side earth with
approved material as per MORTH Specification 305 compacted to meet requirement of table No. 300-2) to
a width of 1.50 mts .
Quarries for aggregates, the characteristics, leads involved etc., actual lead for aggregate from quarry to Hot
Mix plant site an actual lead for bitumen from source to Hot Mix Plants adopted in preparation of datas.
