What's New in DesignReview Integrator

(PD_Review)
The following changes have been made to DesignReview Integrator:
Version 2011 (V12)
New Userinterface to create or edit the XML label libarary. (CR PB:104006)

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

SECTION 1

Introduction
The DesignReview Integrator provides an intelligent link between PDS and Intergraph
Corporation's DesignReview package. You can use SmartPlant Review to walk through a PDS
model in full shaded mode and review the design and alphanumeric data.
PD_Review is used to create the necessary SmartPlant Review control and label files. Label files
can be created from PE-HVAC, Piping, Equipment, Structural, Raceway, and PLANTGEN
models.
Engineering data such as instrument numbers, equipment numbers, line numbers, and line sizes
are available when walking through the model. Comments are stored in a separate tag file and can
be accessed later during the review session. On subsequent walk throughs, the original comment
can be reviewed along with the responsible designer's actions.
The DesignReview Administrator provides file management for label files that are input to
SmartPlant Review and tag files that are returned to PDS. The software also allows you to create
a list of PDS models either by selecting design areas or by selecting individual files. Non-PDS
design files can be specified as well.
The DesignReview Tag Environment allows you to review and respond to comments for a
selected PDS model via a graphical interface. This command is similar to the DesignReview
command of the Piping Designer module.

PD_Review Setup
PDS uses the following organization to break the plant into smaller pieces that can be handled
more easily.
A project is a convenient grouping of either all or part of the items that constitute a plant. The
project is the fundamental structure for working in PDS. Each project contains all the information
required to work in a PDS task.
The Project Administrator controls the creation and modification of PDS 3D projects. Each
project consists of a project control database, project design database, piping and equipment
models, reference models (structural, HVAC, and electrical raceway), a set of drawings, and a
collection of reference data. The reference data may be specific to one project or shared by more
than one project.
A project and all of its accompanying files must be defined with the Project Administrator before
you can use any of the other PDS 3D modules. Refer to the Project Administrator Reference
Guide for more information on:
Loading PDS 3D products.
Editing the control script to identify the location of the project data.
Setting up a project and creating the associated database schema.
Accessing the PDS 3D products remotely using NFS.

SECTION 2

DesignReview Integrator
This command activates the DesignReview Integrator form. The DesignReview Integrator is
used to review data from previous SmartPlant Review sessions and to create label files.
When you select the DesignReview Integrator command from the Plant Design System form,
the system displays the DesignReview Integrator form.

DesignReview Administrator Manages the creation, revision, and deletion of SmartPlant

Review sessions and also the definition and creation of label files. See DesignReview
Administrator (on page 13) for information on using this option.
DesignReview Tag Environment Displays a tag and associated data based on user-defined
criteria. See DesignReview Tag Environment (on page 37) for information on using this option.

SECTION 3

DesignReview Defaults Setup

This command activates the DesignReview Defaults Setup form, which is used to specify the
default location on the network to which PD_Review will ship the control and tag files when they
are created.
This form also allows you to specify a range of model status values to be processed by
PD_Review. This allows control over whether or not the system processes models defined as
temporary or preliminary.

The model status range definition of this option is independent of the model status options
used by the PDS Interference Manager module.
The status for each model is defined at model creation; it is maintained in the Model Data
Table (PDtable_113) through Project Environment Manager).

DesignReview Path This field contains the path to where the control (.dri) file will be created.
This is also where the label files will be shipped after their creation.
DesignReview Node This field contains the node name of the machine on which the control
(.dri) file will be created. This is also where the label files will be shipped after their creation.
Model Status Ranges for Preliminary Data Allows you to define a specific range of model
status values as preliminary; models that fall into this range will not be processed.
Low Range This field contains the numeric value of the lowest model status number, which will
be considered preliminary; models with this status value will not be processed.

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

11

DesignReview Defaults Setup

High Range This field contains the numeric value of the highest model status number, which
will be considered preliminary; models with this status value will not be processed.

12

The status range specification option does not apply to the Revise Project List command
used during creation or revision of SmartPlant Review sessions because the Revise Project
List command allows user selection of models to be processed.
The data defined by this option is maintained in the Project Control Data Table
(PDtable_103) of the Project Control Database.

SECTION 4

DesignReview Administrator
This command provides options used to create, revise, or delete SmartPlant Review sessions.

Create DesignReview Session Creates a SmartPlant Review session definition and

optionally generates label files from the existing models in the PDS project. For more
information, see Create DesignReview Session (on page 14).
Revise DesignReview Session Allows redefinition of management data for an existing
SmartPlant Review session. For more information, see Revise DesignReview Session (on page
24).
The re-creation of SmartPlant Review labels is no longer an automatic feature of this
option; the functionality to automatically generate these label files has been incorporated into the
DesignReview Label Builder command described later in this document.
Delete DesignReview Session Deletes a predefined SmartPlant Review session and allows
the option to delete its associated files. For more information, see Delete DesignReview Session
(on page 30).
DesignReview Label Builder Creates or updates label files for existing SmartPlant Review
sessions. This option can be used to create or update the label files immediately, or at a
specified time on a specified date. For more information, see DesignReview Label Builder (on
page 31).
DesignReview Scheduled Label Builder Allows you to specify the month, date/day, and time
to create or update the label files for existing SmartPlant Review sessions. This option can be

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

13

DesignReview Administrator
used to automatically update label files on a periodic basis. For more information, see
DesignReview Scheduled Label Builder (on page 33).

Create DesignReview Session

This command displays the Label Builder Interface form, which is used to define the
administrative data and to select the models to be processed by the new session. These models
can be from multiple disciplines and design areas. The data is written and maintained in the .lst
file.

DesignReview Number Key in a SmartPlant Review number (up to 25 characters). The

SmartPlant Review number is used for identification purposes only.
DesignReview Title Key in a SmartPlant Review title (up to 40 characters). The SmartPlant
Review title is used for identification purposes only.
DesignReview Type When this field is active, the system displays the Review Standard
Notes form. Select either Client Review or Informal Review and select Confirm. Currently, the
DesignReview Type has no impact on the DesignReview Integrator software.
Control File Prefix Key in a unique name for the control file, or select Use Existing Session
to choose an existing session whose information you want to use. The system automatically
updates the Control File Name and Tag File Name fields.
Control File Name The system appends the .dri extension to the control file prefix. The control
file contains model data and parameter data for SmartPlant Review. For more information on the
.dri file, refer to the SmartPlant Review Users Guide.
Control File Path Key in the directory where the control file will be located. The path entered
here will be echoed to the Tag File Path field.
Control File Node Key in the node name where the control file will be located. The path
entered here will be echoed to the Tag File Node field.

14

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

DesignReview Administrator
Tag File Name When a Control File Prefix (above) is keyed in, the system echoes that file
name with the .tag extension to the Tag File Name field.
The tag file is created at a later time by the SmartPlant Review system, and it contains the
tag data for the models included in the control file. For more information about tag files, refer to
SmartPlant Review Tag Environment.
Tag File Path After a Control File Path (above) is keyed in, the system echoes the file path to
the Tag File Path field. The tag file path represents the location of the tag file.
Tag File Node After a Control File Node is keyed in, the system echoes the node to the Tag
File Node field. The tag file node represents the node where the tag file is located.
If default settings were set previously using the DesignReview Defaults Setup option, that
information appears in the Control File Path, Control File Node, Tag File Path and Tag File Node
fields. Refer to DesignReview Defaults Setup for more information.
Use Existing Session This option activates the secondary Label Builder Interface form that
allows you to select an existing session as the basis for a new session. When you select an
existing SmartPlant Review session from this form, the current session will use the same .lst file
that the existing session does.
This option does not copy the .lst file that tells the software which models to process; this
file will be shared between each session that uses it. This means that any modifications made to
the geographic extents of either session (via the Modify Label Extents command, for example)
will affect each session that shares the .lst file.

When this form is accepted, you will return to the primary Label Builder Interface form, which will
have inherited the data from the SmartPlant Review session you just selected.
Once the appropriate information has been defined and the primary Label Builder Interface form
is accepted, the system displays the DesignReview Administrator form.

DesignReview Administrator Form

This form has five options that are primarily used in defining the scope of models to be included in
the tag file. Submission time can also be specified using this form. Select your settings, and then
select Confirm to accept the settings on the form. The system then creates the SmartPlant
Review session using the specified information.

When the SmartPlant Review session is created, no preliminary models are processed unless
they are specified by the Revise Project List option.
You cannot use more than one option to create a SmartPlant session. Each option is
independent of the others.
The first four options (Complete Project, Project with Model Search Criteria, Piping
Design Area(s), and Design Area(s)) all write the .lst file in a format that is readable by RIS,
while the Revise Project List creates a file that can be edited for revision purposes by an
external text editor such as Notepad.
Complete Project Selects all model files in the project for processing.
Project with Model Search Criteria Selects models in the project based on user-defined
search criteria. For more information, see Project with Model Search Criteria (on page 18).
Piping Design Area(s) Creates a list of all the model files in selected piping area(s). For more
information, see Piping Design Area(s) (on page 20).
Design Area(s) Allows you to select a PDS discipline and the areas which it contains. The
system uses the selected areas to generate a list of models. For more information, see Design
Area(s) (on page 21).
Revise Project List Allows you to select models to be included in the model list. For more
information, see Revise Project List (on page 22).
Create Labels / Do Not Create Labels The setting of this toggle controls whether or not the
software creates the label file when the form is accepted. (The label file contains the database

16

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

DesignReview Administrator
information associated with all elements within a model.) This file can be created immediately
upon confirming this form, or it can be delayed until a specific day and time (either with the Submit
Immediately / Delayed Submit Time toggle on this form, or with the various Label Builder
options available from the main DesignReview Administrator form). If this toggle is set to Create
Labels, the next toggles are presented on the form.
In order to read and store the label files in a project database more easily, DesignReview
Integrator outputs entries in the label file using the format name : value.
Source of Data Select the source of the label data.
MDP Database The label data is read from the MDP database. If you use this option, you
can create a label from any attribute in the supported tables. The
<project_folder>\project\labels.xml file controls the format of the MDP label data. The
following tables are supported:
Pipes pdtable_50, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Components pdtable_34, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Instruments pdtable_67, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Supports pdtable_80, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Design Database The label data is read from the project's database. There is a limit of 65
entries in the label file.
Do Not Ship to DesignReview / Ship Files to DesignReview This controls whether
DesignReview Integrator copies the resulting files to the node being used for the SmartPlant
Review sessions. (This path is defined in the DesignReview Defaults Setup form.)
Submit Immediately / Delayed Submit Time When delayed submission is selected, you are
prompted to specify the time to submit the request for processing. Enter the day, hour, and minute;
then select AM or PM. If immediate submission is selected, the request is processed immediately
when the form is accepted.
Add Weld Graphics / Do NOT Add Weld Graphics This toggle is available only if the Ship
Files to DesignReview option is selected. This toggle controls whether graphical representations
of welds appear in the SmartPlant Review session. When weld graphics are added, they are
stored in the copy of the files sent to SmartPlant Review; they are not saved in the project files.
Attributes of the weld, such as the weld number or the weld type (as defined in Label 353), are
included in a tag file.
When weld graphics are added, they are stored in the copy of the files sent to SmartPlant Review;
they are not saved in the project files. Attributes of the weld, such as the weld number or the weld
type (as defined in Label 353), are included in a tag file.

Weld graphics are generated only where piping, instrumentation, and/or components form a
weld connection. Weld graphics are not generated to represent welded ends that are not
connected to other items.
Dimensions of weld graphics are determined by the information in the DRV_WELD_DEF table
in the Piping Job Specification tables library, using the owning component of the weld. If this
table does not exist in that library, weld graphics are added for all welds, using the following
default values:
Diameter = 130% of the NPD at the weld
Thickness = 25% of the NPD at the weld
If the DRV_WELD_DEF table does exist in the Piping Job Specification tables library, then
weld graphics are added for only the welds that satisfy the NPD and Weld Type ranges in the
DRV_WELD_DEF table.

Project with Model Search Criteria

This option allows you to filter models to be processed during label file creation and transmittal.
The search criteria are based on model data contained in pdtable_113.

When you select an attribute, applicable operator options are displayed along the bottom of the
form.
The combination of these operators with either attribute values or (where applicable) code list
values enables you to fully specify an attribute restriction (for example, discipline = Equipment).
You can combine these specifications as needed using the And and Or options, which are
displayed in place of the operator options after you have defined a model attribute restriction.
When you select a code-listed attribute, the Review Standard Notes form is displayed. This form
provides a list of valid codes for the specified attribute. Simply select a code from the list and click
Accept to continue with the specification.
When you specify search criteria and click Accept, the system creates a discrimination data file
with the same name as the associated control file and a .crt file extension.

A carriage return allows you to enter additional models. For example:
rv112a c:\power\pipe\ pipe01.dgn
tr104b c:\power\eqp\ eqp02.dgn
If you receive a log file to the effect that the error is an "Unknown PDS file type [path] not
processed," the software is telling you that the model is not a PDS model, not necessarily that it is
unknown. Because the model is not a PDS model, it is not processed.

Revise DesignReview Session

This command updates the management data for existing control files, and allows the option of
re-creating the label file and then shipping it to the SmartPlant Review system. When this

Control File Name The system appends a .dri extension to the control file prefix. The control
file contains model data and parameter data for SmartPlant Review. For more information on the
.dri file, refer to the SmartPlant Review User's Guide.
Control File Path Key in the directory where the control file will be located. The path entered
here will be echoed to the Tag File Path field.

PDS uses the defined Tag File Path to look for the tag file. If this location is the same as
the Control File Path, the system can access the file across the network. Otherwise, it may be
necessary to copy the tag file to the location of the control file.
Use Existing Session This option activates the Label Builder Interface form. When you
select an existing SmartPlant Review session from this form, the current session will use the same
.lst file that the existing session does.
This option does not copy the .lst file that tells the software which models to process; this
file is shared between each session that uses it. This means that any modifications made to the
geographic extents of either session (via the Modify Label Extents command, for example) that
share a .lst file will affect any sessions that share the .lst.
When this form is accepted, you return to the Label Builder Interface form, which will have
inherited the data from the SmartPlant Review session you just selected.
After the appropriate information has been defined and the Label Builder Interface form is
accepted, the system displays the DesignReview Administrator form.
Create Labels / Do Not Create Labels This controls whether or not the software creates the
label file when the form is accepted. (The label file contains the database information associated
with all elements within a model.) This file can be created immediately upon confirming this form,
or it can be delayed until a specific day and time (either with the Submit Immediately / Delayed
Submit Time toggle on this form, or with the various Label Builder options available from the
main DesignReview Administrator form). If this toggle is set to Create Labels, the next two
toggles are presented on the form.
In order to read and store the label files in a project database more easily, DesignReview
Integrator outputs entries in the label file using the format name : value.
Source of Data Select the source of the label data.
MDP Database The label data is read from the MDP database. If you use this option, you
can create a label from any attribute that has been published to the MDP database. The
<project_folder>\project\labels.xml file controls the format of the MDP label data.
Design Database The label data is read from the project's database. There is a limit of 65
entries in the label file.

Plant Design System (PDS) DesignReview Integrator

27

DesignReview Administrator
If the DRV_WELD_DEF table does exist in the Piping Job Specification tables library, then
weld graphics are added for only the welds that satisfy the NPD and Weld Type ranges in the
DRV_WELD_DEF table.
Do Not Ship to Design Review / Ship Files to DesignReview This controls whether or not
DesignReview Integrator moves the resulting files to the node where the SmartPlant Review
product resides.
Submit Immediately / Delayed Submit Time When delayed submission is selected, you will
be prompted to specify the time to submit the request for processing. Enter the day, hour, and
minute; then select AM or PM. If immediate submission is selected, the request is processed
immediately when the form is accepted.
Modify Label Extents This option activates the DesignReview Administrator Form, which
allows you to define the geographic extents to be processed by the session.
This option makes changes to the .lst file, and if this session is sharing a common .lst file
with another session, both sessions are affected.

You cannot use more than one option to create a SmartPlant Review session. Each option
is independent of the others. Also remember that, if the project list was specified using the Revise
Project List command during the Create SmartPlant Review Session phase, any further
modification to the .lst file must be done using an external text editor.
Complete Project Selects all model files in the project for processing. The system sorts
models in ascending order by model_no attribute. Thus, the model with the first alphanumeric
name would be the first model in the DRI file.
The system also filters models (skip models) whose lock_status < 0 OR model_type=1 OR
model_status in the preliminary range.
Project with Model Search Criteria Selects models in the project based on user-defined
search criteria. The system does not do any sorting. It merely queries for models satisfying the
specified search criteria.
Piping Design Area(s) Creates a list of all the model files in selected piping area(s). The
system sorts models in ascending order by model_no attribute for each selected area. So the
model with the first alphanumeric name in the first processed area would be the first model in the
.dri file. The first processed area is the topmost-selected piping area on the area selection form.
The system also filters models (skip models) whose lock_status < 0 OR model_type=1 OR
model_status in the preliminary range. See Piping Design Area(s) (on page 20),for information on
using this option.
Design Area(s) Allows you to select a PDS discipline and the areas which it contains. The
system uses the selected areas to generate a list of models and sorts models in ascending order
by model_no attribute for each selected area. So the model with the first alphanumeric name in
the first processed area would be the first model in the dri file. You can select areas from multiple
disciplines. The discipline selected first would make it to the top of the list. See Design Area(s) (on
page 21), for information on using this option.
The system also filters models (skip models) whose lock_status < 0 OR model_type=1 OR
model_status in the preliminary range.
Revise Project List The topmost-selected model on the model selection form.
The system also filters models (skip models) whose lock_status < 0 OR model_type=1.
If this toggle is set to Create Labels, the next three
toggles are presented on the form.
Source of Data Select the source of the label data.
MDP Database The label data is read from the MDP database. If you use this option, you
can create a label from any attribute in the supported tables. The
<project_folder>\project\labels.xml file controls the format of the MDP label data. The
following tables are supported:
Pipes pdtable_50, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Components pdtable_34, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Instruments pdtable_67, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Supports pdtable_80, pdtable_12 and pdtable_900
Design Database The label data is read from the project's database.

minute; then select AM or PM. If immediate submission is selected, the request is processed
immediately when the form is accepted. Type ranges in the DRV_WELD_DEF table.

If the DRV_WELD_DEF table does exist in the Piping Job Specification tables library, then
weld graphics are added for only the welds that satisfy the NPD and Weld.
Do Not Ship to Design Review / Ship Files to DesignReview This controls whether or not
DesignReview Integrator moves the resulting files to the node where the SmartPlant Review
product resides.

Delete DesignReview Session

Selecting this command activates the Delete DesignReview Session form, which displays a list
of available review numbers and descriptions. There is also a toggle that allows the option to
delete the associated .lst file and control file. Because the files can be shared by multiple
sessions, this toggle's default setting is Do Not Delete Associated Files.
If the associated files are not deleted, the operating system can still recognize them, and
you will not be allowed to create new sessions with the same names.

DesignReview Label Builder

Selecting this command activates the DesignReview Label Builder form, which allows you to
select the sessions for which you want to create (or re-create) label files. You can select multiple
sessions; the selected sessions are highlighted.

Label files have a .drv extension, and they are created in the directory in which the associated
model file resides.
Label files that are up to date (that is, they are more recent than the models to which they
belong) are not processed; the system only creates labels for models that have been revised
since its label file was last built.
To create labels for PE_HVAC models, the name of the PE_HVAC project database must be
prj_[pdsprojectname], where [pdsprojectname] is the exact name of the PDS project. If you
want to use a different PE_HVAC project schema name, you can set the system environment
variable PDS_HVAC_SCHEMA_NAME to prj_[myhvprojname], where [myhvprojname] is the
name you want to use for the PE_HVAC project.
The label numbers and the order in which SmartPlant Review labels are displayed are
hard-coded, and cannot be changed.

PDS and FrameWorks Plus use different methods to generate SmartPlant Review labels for
FrameWorks Plus models. PDS uses the label description library to build labels, while
FrameWorks Plus generates hard-coded labels. Thus, a label for an item in a FrameWorks
Plus model may contain different information depending on whether the .drv file was
generated by the DesignReview Label Builder or by FrameWorks Plus.

Ship Files to DesignReview / Do NOT Ship to DesignReview This toggle controls whether
or not the label files being created will be shipped to the node being used for the DesignReview
session. (This path is defined in the DesignReview Defaults Setup form.) If the toggle is set to
Do NOT Ship to DesignReview, the files remain on the local system where they were created.
Source of Data Select the source of the label data.
MDP Database The label data is read from the MDP database. If you use this option, you
can create a label from any attribute in the supported tables. The

Review Tags
While in the tag environment, you can review the comments by number, by a substring
search, or by selecting the next or previous comment number. You can also respond to any
comment.
When using the next comment or previous comment option, this command filters out any
comments that are not associated with the active model. This filter is applied by comparing the
physical location of the comment with the volumetric range of the active model.
If a comment was made for a specific component during a SmartPlant Review session, that
component is highlighted in the specified screen view and the orientation tee is displayed at the
tag point. If the component is not found, the system displays a message indicating that the
component was deleted.
Selecting the Review Tags option activates a form that allows you to select a tag file.

40

PDS uses the defined Tag File Path to look for the tag file. If this location is the same as the
Control File Path, the system can access the file across the network. Otherwise, it may be
necessary to copy the tag file to the location of the control file. Make sure the file protections
on the tag file are such that it can be accessed by the PDS user.
Plant monument information is obtained from the SmartPlant Review project in order to create
an accurate design volume and to determine which tags are relevant during the review
process. It is important that the information obtained from the SmartPlant Review project
matches the design file created by DesignReview Integrator.

for a view camera.

Setup This option allows you to set the target, position, and clipping planes for a view camera
and turn on the camera for the view. The camera lens is set with the Lens option. Place a data
point to define the camera target. The point becomes the focal point (center) of the view. Objects
that are beyond the target point appear smaller due to the nature of the perspective projection.
Objects that are in front of the target point appear larger and may be excluded from the viewing
pyramid.
Place a data point to define the camera position. A dynamic pyramid is displayed to show the
viewing volume with the camera at the pointer location.
Place a data point to define the front clipping plane (display depth). Any elements or portions of
elements in front of this plane are not displayed.
Place a final data point to define the back clipping plane (display depth). Any elements or portions
of elements that are beyond this plane are not displayed, but the view is turned on.
Target This option allows you to set the target of a view camera without changing the camera
position. This is as is you are standing in one position and moving the camera to view different
angles.
Position This option allows you to set the position of a view camera without changing the
camera target. This is as if you are focusing the camera at an object and moving around to obtain
different views of the object.

I/Plot Parameter Files Place a data point in this field to select an I/Plot parameters file to be
used in plotting with your model. If no I/Plot parameters file is selected, the default queue is used.
Queues Select a plot queue to process the plot job. If a queue is not selected, the default plot
queue is used.
Scales Allows you to select a plot scale. These scales are defined in the Standard Note Library
(Standard Note 1201) in the following format: m m"=n n"
where m is the scale on the plot, and n is the scale on the model. For example, 1/4"=1 indicates
that 1/4 inch on the plot represents 1 foot in the model.
If you select a scale that would result in the plot being larger than the size of the paper in
the plotter, and if the selected queue is local so that the size verification is accessible, then an
error message is displayed and you must either select a smaller scale, redefine the volume to be
plotted, or select a larger plotter.

SECTION 6

DesignReview Model Transmittal

This command automatically transmits a selected SmartPlant Review data set to the applicable
SmartPlant Review workstation.
The system copies the SmartPlant Review models and the corresponding label files to the
network address and the path name for the SmartPlant Review control file, as specified with the
DesignReview Default Setup command.
If you consider a SmartPlant Review model as a snapshot of that part of the project, it is
highly recommended that a unique path name be used for each control file. Hence, the data set for
each SmartPlant Review model is maintained separately and the relationship between a version
of a model and its corresponding label file is consistent.
When this option is selected, the system activates the File Transmittal Interface form.

Select the review number for the data to be transmitted to the SmartPlant Review workstation, and
then select Confirm to activate the submission form.

Destination Path This field contains the path to the SmartPlant Review workstation.
Destination Node This field contains the node name of the SmartPlant Review workstation.

48

Weld graphics are generated only where piping, instrumentation, and/or components form a
weld connection. Weld graphics are not generated to represent welded ends that are not
connected to other items.
Dimensions of weld graphics are determined by the information in the DRV_WELD_DEF table
in the Piping Job Specification tables library, using the owning component of the weld. If this
table does not exist in that library, weld graphics are added for all welds, using the following
default values:
Diameter = 130% of the NPD at the weld
Thickness = 25% of the NPD at the weld
If the DRV_WELD_DEF table does exist in the Piping Job Specification tables library, then
weld graphics are added for only the welds that satisfy the NPD and Weld.

Submit to Batch Immediately / Delayed Submit to Batch When delayed submission is
selected, you will be prompted to specify the time to submit the request for processing. Enter the
day, hour, and minute; then select AM or PM. If immediate submission is selected, the system
submits the request to the batch queue, PDlabel_sender, for transmitting the appropriate data set.
