APPRENTICE TRAINEES AT C-DOT (DELHI & BANGALORE)
Centre for Development of Telematics(C-DOT) is an autonomous Telecom
Technology Centre of Govt. of India and pursuing Research & Development in
the field of Telecommunications.
C-DOT would like to engage Apprentice Trainees for a period of one year or as
prescribed by the Apprentice Act, 1961.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates should have Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Technology from the

institutes approved by AICTE /Directorate of Technical Education of
Concerned State and 10+2 vocational passed out students from Higher
Secondary Schools /Junior Colleges and Intermediate Education.
Candidates should not be more than 25 years as on 1 st January 2015.
Candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training elsewhere.
Candidates should not have work experience of more than one year
In case of all other categories, except ITI Holders, candidates should not have
completed three years after passing the qualifying examination.
C-DOT will follow reservation policy for reserved categories as laid down in
the Apprentice Act, 1961.

Stipend and Other Allowances

1) Graduate Engineers Rs. 10000/- p.m. (fixed)
2) Diploma Holders Rs. 7000/- p.m. (fixed)
3) ITI Holders Rs.5000/- p.m. (fixed)
In addition to the stipend, they will be allowed to use canteen facility at
subsidized rates and transport facility subject to availability of seats in the cabs.
Offer of Appointment :
It shall not be obligatory on the part of C-DOT to employ Apprentices on
completion of training nor shall it be obligatory on the part of the apprentice to
accept an employment under the employer. The selected candidates will be
governed by the terms and conditions as per Apprenticeship Act of 1961 and
further amendments made therein.
