THE ROLE AND ESTABLISHMENT OF ISLAMIC VALUES

TO FORM BRILLIANT PEOPLE *


(tathbit wa dawr qiyaam al-qudsiyyah fi intaaj al-afraad muhsineen)

Human being had formed their private lives, attitudes and their behavior
through a set of belief (i'tiqad-belief), divine values (qiyam al-rabbaniyyah
al-qudsiyyah the sacred and universal values) and the environment
(bi'ah-circumstances) as well as the experience to mature them. Through
the achievement of the height of civilization and civilizational studies, the
sophistication of knowledge and developed countries as well as the
industrial era, all policies should run in tandem to produce humans that
will hold the value of humanity and divinity, not produce human cyborg,
robotic and bionic-machine only for the use of material civilization alone.
So produce a successful and happiness are fully delivered to a number of
principles and universal values which are eligible as well as capable of
preparing human into excellence, advancement and successful as well as
satisfaction and happiness in this world and in the hereafter (mawqif alfalah).
THE MEANING OF UNIVERSAL VALUES
According to the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir
Mohamed that values are: "Islamic values to be inducted are the values that
will be able to build a government that is efficient and capable of governing
effectively in terms of peace, security and development that could rival
other rulers". Wouldn't work for a government and administration even
more so rival others in the event of human capital that determines rise and
fall of an organization or government is not construct with the mold of the
principles and policies in Islam to produce synergy values (qiyam
qudsiyah) of the unity in that peripheral God overflows attributes length
around the attributes height, universality and last excellent and develop
human and enforces the sense of morality actually. In terms of the
application of values and universal public service currently includes clean,

efficient, trustworthy, responsible, sincere, modest, diligent dedication,


patience, self-discipline, cooperation, kindness, gratitude, loyalty and
appreciate the time. This is one of the core values that are delivered by the
Malaysian Government to produce good citizens and able to perform
human resources with distinction level.
BETWEEN PRINCIPLES AND VALUES IN ISLAM
Islam does not separate between the policies, the principles and teachings
of Islam of the universal values. These values will not be successfully
practiced in the event that personal commitment policy (' the ubudiah
submission), the Core Principles of Sharia Islamic theology and Islamic ('
aqidah Islamiah education wa syarai ' Islamiah education-Islamic Articles
of belief and Law) and practical interpretation of Islam as a way of life
(Islam nizam al-hayat Islam is the way of life) were ignored and not the
general thrust of the Prime and in the community. The value must not be
able to stand just because is made to achieve some short term goals and
material and worldly nature. Example search for universal values to build a
strong country only for power, grandeur and wealth of human life will
eventually collapse when power, grandeur and wealth that does not favour
his personal interests. So the universal value for being used was achieved
something seeking for self-interest that is not a universal goal. They will be
looking for values are not purely to achieve the personal purposes. A look at
Islam when championing Islamic Sharia to be established is specifically to
the interests and safety of all worshippers; Islam and non-Muslims far
from personal profit oriented. As a result of there must be Justice,
harmony, fair and trust can be implemented successfully because yield
finally universal nature (universality). Of the principles of the Islamic
Sharia that universal will create universal justice and contributed to good
and universal harmony. Its own self-interests achieved though not made
the original purpose, because through the Islamic Shari'ah, all men will get
rights and justice in Islam.

Allah swt says:


"God is the protector of the believers, he is released from the darkness
(kufr) to the light of faith (nur al-iman). And those who disbelieved, their
protector is the devil who manufacture them from the light of faith to the
darkness of disbelieve (dzulmat kufr). They are the residents of hellfire,
where they remain inside. " (al-Baqarah 2: 257)
"But shall be those who (have divine properties noble) because you teach
the Book and because youre still studying about it." (ali-' Imran 3: 79)
"O believers, remain conscious of Allah, and speak about solid right and
Allah will orient his future practice upon you and forgive you. Whom so
ever Allah and obey his Messenger, then surely it has got big rewards. " (AlAhzab 33: 70-71)
Strong policy is derived from God the creator of man, the heavens and the
Earth. Yet He awarded light hint by revelation through all the prophets at
every age (light of guidance), which will not be falsified by anyone. The
darkness only for Satan's team. This policy is reinforced when God is
willing man has the properties height and their values from God through
learning the Quran and the tradition of prophet Muhammad ( Sunnah
Rasulillah pbuh) and teach and urge other people upon it. Fight for the
closet position to God - Rabbaniyyin this is what to do with Divine
guidance and strong in our minds fixed on a platform of truth in words and
acts on them. Forgiveness God so they can expect for and admire paradise
rewards for them.
An Engineer Syrian preacher Sheikh Fathi Yakan had put the strong
policies to develop human capital and to restore beatitude of the Nation. It
is regarded as "the Savior of human civilization downturn. The principles
are available is: "To know God (ma'rifatullah), a commitment to God ('
ibadatullah), remembering and hopeful togetherness with God
(dhikrullah), a sense of fear with its grandeur and grace you Allah (alkhawf min Allah), approaching the self towards Allah (muraqabatullah),
loving Allah (hubbullah) and the Prophet (hubburRasulillah) and on it is a
sense of ease with the predestination of God in all things (al-Reda ' ala

Allah)." Its clear to Muslims that the result of the policies and principles
from Allah almighty will produce the values and work cultures and the
development of human and nature realm in true Divine and Prophetic
Muhammad peace be upon him.
THE ROLE OF PRINCIPLES AND VALUES
Islamic values born from religious principles like the Muslim Principle of
Creed - Tawhid, Islamic Laws, and good morality and ethics. It is not born
as a reaction to environmental prompt unplanned, even Islam already
evaluate and take into account all calculations with fair, balanced and
accurate with the habits and attitudes as well as human needs with the
development environment and its development explicit and implicit
domains. Obviously, the principle of Islamic values influence by the
principle of "al-' adl wa al ihsan" the justice and excellence. As God
revealed this:
Allah commands (you) to be fair and do welfare, contribute to relatives,
and God forbid indecency, transgresses and hostilities. He is giving a lesson
to you that you take conscious. (al-Nahl: 90)
The people who believe and quiet their hearts when the remembrance of
Allah. Know that with the remembrance of Allah it will calm the hearts of
human beings. Those who believe and do good deeds, for they are good and
the best refuge to (Paradise).(al-Ra'd: 28-29)
Then the impact of the implementation of the duties and responsibility of
God in this life, will inherit the properties and universal values again purely
to appreciate and develop human beings on it. These values are of Tawhid
(I'tiqad), trustee (ameen), diligent (Itqaan), efficient (khibrah), wise
morality (husnu al-khuluq), productive (yanfa'u al-nas), the height of
academic degrees and technology at the level of excellent (ustaziyat alalam), the beauty of Allah almighty (al-jamal) and so on.
METHODOLOGY OF EXCELLENCE
Sheikh Fathi Yakan, also suggested that the formation of human beings
towards excellence through continuous practices by searching for

agreement of God through daily human life path. Strictly speaking, how
humans managed to maintain a commitment to God, his values and charity
actions and their working culture is increased excellently. Among them
there are suggested in the book entitled as Qawarib al-Najat where he
specifies the streets heading to steps of excellent alike.
With this proposal the service sector will enhance to open up opportunities
to instill values more sound and effective at both school and colleges and
universities. Through the provision of human resource development,
strengthening of moral values can be implemented through training. Senior
officials from the public and private sectors already have to expose with
training appreciation of moral values, since they are more exposed to the
elements-power, corruption or fraud, nepotism, corruption and others.
Training to enhance confidence, strengthen faith and enforcement of the
law seen as effective in forming these values in people of this country. Take
advantage of the proposed by honorary Dato ' Prof. Dr. Syed Othman alHabshi who has clarify and recommend the strengthening of moral values
can and works done if all parties working to create or digitize it. It is
precisely the reality of the following shall be taken into account. Among
them are;
1) Purpose or intention: appreciation of moral values is very closely related
to the purposes of intent, mission, vision, objectives and goals of an
organization that is established and operated. It must be visible, clear and
consistent. 2) suitable Atmosphere: Atmosphere and workplaces must
always uphold the values to be in the culture of society. For example
practice trust, teamwork and prudent be introduction of a body or the
organization. 3) holistic practice: every Member and involved in an
organization must be involved in understanding the values, such as a school
is to be built on a culture of cleanliness, to be implemented at every level
and involve all parties. 4) strong commitment: It must be shown clearly and
vigorously. All members in an organization are responsible for reminding
colleagues about weaknesses in commitment. Proof of determination as to
appoint the highest officer with full authority for the success of total quality
standards in an organization need to be establish.

Hope the champion of values and universal will understand and get an
overview of how it can be operated within an organization, group, society
and nation. With all forms of quality value to be obtained will be shared.
EXCELLENT HUMAN QUALITY
In Islam those who succeed are the al-Muflihun and al-Muhsinun.
Purposely to those of the excellent ' is a manifestation of the quality of
human that generated from people who have the properties of praise. '
Meanwhile the quality is meaning ' achieve everything in want ' from the
real needs of people according to the teachings of Islam. It is known as alfalah a form of success in this world and in the hereafter next may bring
real happiness to human beings. As a result people get the pleasure of God
through revenue efforts and their practices in the world. Include prosperity,
free from anxiety, distress or emotional disorders and personal safety.
SUMMARY AND CLOSING.
A set of values already displayed and reworked the concept, introduction
and its relationship with the axis of the core of these values with the policy
and its principles at all according to the teachings of Islam. Understanding
the fact that could not be born of an appreciation of the value if it is not
appreciated at all with their philosophy and ideology and has transformed
and brought about a significant impact on a nation and human groups. The
practice of imitating without knowing the origin and background of values
and culture, will lead to the failure in performing the values into working
fields or sectors. But as soon as they are identified, nevertheless, policies
and principles as well as, then the ideologies transform into such scenario,
attitude and achievement of a nation.
