It is necessary to be Merciful to those who are wretched and wandering.
The Great Light-givers and Fathers of our Holy Church took great care concerning
this.
In relation to this Virtue, we must strive by all means possible to fulfil the Law of
God: ... be Merciful, as your Father also is Merciful! and ...I Will have Mercy,
not sacrifice! (LUKE 6:36 & MATTHEW 9:13)
The Wise heed these Saving Words, but the foolish do not heed them.
For that reason the Reward is also different: ... he who sows sparingly shall also
reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully... (2
CORINTHIANS 9:6)

God is Fire warming and igniting our heart and inward parts.
So, when we feel a Coldness in our heart, which is from the devil who is cold, then let
us call out to our Lord to have Mercy on us and He will come to us, and He will
warm our heart with His Perfect Love not only towards Himself, but to our
neighbours as well.
And the Coldness of the Despiser of all Goodness and Truth, will run from the
Presence of His Divine Warmth and Love.

They are known as
Heavens Initiates and renowned as
Preachers

sound
Doctrine;
unadulterated Theologians:
Saint
Basil the Great Expositor and
Hierophant; and also the Divine
Herald, Gregory; and John who is
famous for his Golden Tongue.
These were Glorified as is meet by
the Holy Trinity, the Lord Who has
Great Mercy.

to say to the Hierarchs? Peers of the
Apostles are they in Grace, and equal
sharers of the Spirits Gifts. They
are the Destroyers of false doctrine,
the Saviours and Trusty Guides in
word and actual deed, the Shepherds
who by their Faith have imitated
Christ. They were on earth Virtual
Angels and Heavenly Mortals. They
were greatly Honoured by Christ, the
Glorious King of all, the Lord Who
has Great Mercy.
