1.PullList

Thepulllistcontrolstheinhouseflowofmaterialforsupplyingproductionwithmaterials.Thesystemassumesthatthe
componentsrequiredforproductionhavealreadybeenproducedinhouseorprocuredexternallyandarenow
availabletobetransferredfromtheircurrentstoragelocationorbintotheproductionstoragelocation.
Thepulllistchecksthestocksituationattheproductionstoragelocationandcalculatesthequantitiesofmissingparts.
Replenishmentelementscanbecreatedforthesemissingparts.

2.MasterData

HerewearegoingtoreviewthekeymasterdataneededtousethePullList.

2.1.ProductionStorageLocation

Issuelocationforproductionorder
Numberoftheissuelocationfromwhichthematerialisissuedduringtheproductionprocess.Backflushispostedto
thisissuelocationifrequired.
Use
Inproduction,thisistheaccesssequenceinwhichthedeterminationoftheproductionstoragelocationoccurs:
1. First,theissuestoragelocationofthematerialtobeissued(MARCLGPRO)istransferredtothematerialmaster
fromtheMRPdataifitis
filled.
2. Thesystemoverwritesthisvaluewiththeissuestoragelocationfromthebillofmaterial(RC29PLGORT,STPO
LGORT)ifitisfilled.
3. Iftheoperationtowhichthecomponentisassignedinproductionordercontainsaworkcenterwithsupplyarea,
thestoragelocationistransferred
fromthissupplyarea(PVBELGORT).However,thistransferisonlycarriedoutifstoragelocationdata(MARD)is
maintainedforthisstoragelocationforthematerial.

Dependingonifyourcomponentisusedinmorethanoneproductionstoragelocation,youcouldasisgnthisinthe
materialmasterorintheBOMorthroughaSupplyArea.Let'ssuposeinthisexamplethatweassignthisatBOMitem
level.

ThisismaintainedusingtcodeCS02.Theproductionstoragelocationisassignedatitemlevel.Onceyouareinthe
BOM,clicktwiceoneachBOMitemandgotoStatus/LngTexttab:

2.2.Stockdetermination

Thepulllistcontrolstheinhouseflowofmaterialforsupplyingproductionwithmaterials.Thesystemassumesthatthe
componentsrequiredforproductionhavealreadybeenproducedinhouseorprocuredexternallyandarenow
availabletobetransferredfromtheircurrentstoragelocationorbintotheproductionstoragelocation.
Thisautomatictransferbetweenthecurrentstoragelocationtotheproductionstoragelocationisperformedbasedon
thestockdeterminationstrategy.

StrategiesforStockDetermination
Youmakeallthesettingsyourequireforastockdeterminationstrategy.
Youdetermineastrategyatplantlevelusingthestockdeterminationgroupandthestockdeterminationrule(The
terms'rule'and'group'correspondtothecheckinggroupandthecheckingrulelogicintheavailabilitycheck).

ThecustomizingpointfortheStrategiesforStockDeterminationis:

Thestockdeterminationgroupisassignedtothematerialinthematerialmasterrecord.

3.PullListExecution

Supposeyourbusinessisrunningthefollowingprocess:
CreateandScheduleprocessorders:theplannercreatestheprocessordersandtheproductionscheduler
schedulesalltheprocessorders.
Materialstaging:warehouseresponsiblewillreceivethelistofprocessordersandwillmovecomponentstothe
shopfloorbasedon:whichisthematerialthatwillbeproducedandwhichistheproductionlinecapacity.
Productionexecution:productionresponsibleexecutestheproductionofthecorrespondingprocessorder.
Goodsreceipt&confirmation:finishedgoodproductionquantityisreceivedandtheconfirmationisdone.Atthis
momentcomponentsareconsumedfromtheproductionstoragelocationusingBackflush.

3.1.CreateandScheduleprocessorders
LetscreateaprocessorderandensuretheProductionStorageLocationisdeterminedasexpected.

Takealookofthecomponentlist.Allthecomponentshaveanassignedproductionstoragelocation:

3.2.Materialstaging(MF60:PullList)

Thewarehouseresponsiblewillmovecomponentstotheshopfloor(productionstoragelocation).Thiscanbedone
basedonprocessordernumberorenteringthematerialandquantitytobeproduced(thisiscommonlyusedwhenthe
ordertakesseveraldaysandweonlywanttosupplycomponentsonadailybasisforthecorrespondingproductionof
theday)
Inthisexamplesupposethatthefirstprocessorderis:304472anditsdurationis5days.Thecorrespondingfinished
goodis:403403(productionversion:0001)andtheproductionlinemaximumcapacityis5000CS/day.
MaterialStagingisexecutedthrutransaction:MF60.

Thepulllistchecksthestocksituationattheproductionstoragelocationandcalculatesthequantitiesofmissingparts.
Replenishmentelementscanbecreatedforthesemissingparts(thisisthesectionatthebottomofthescreen).

Let'sseewhatiseachcolumn:
Issuestor.location=productionstoragelocation.Thiswasenteredinthebillofmaterial.
NetReqQty=componentquantitybasedonmaximumproductionlinecapacity.IncasethePulllistisexecuted
againsanorder,hereyouwillseethequantityofthecomponentdeterminedintheorder.
Availablestock=thisistheavailablestockintheissuestoragelocation(productionstoragelocation).Thiscan
betheavailableremainingquantityofthebeforeproductiondayorshiftororder.
Quantitystaged=NetReqQtyAvail.Stock=Thisistheremainingquantitytobemovedtotheshopfloor
(productionstoragelocation).
RepLoc=isthewarehousestoragelocation.Itisthelocationfoundbythestockdeterminationstrategy.

Finally..youpressSaveandthecomponentswillbemovedfromthemainwarehousetotheproductionstorage
location

4.PullListGlobalSettings
Ifnecessary,limityourselectionusingtheGlobalsettings.Here,youhavethechoicebetween:

Generalsettings
Forexample,youmaychoosetodisplaycomponentswithmissingquantitiesonlyinthepulllistor,usingthe
indicatorTakeallrequirementsintoaccount,youmaydefinethatthesystemistoincludetherequirementsofall
ordersthatinfluencethemissingpartssituation.Ifthisfieldisnotselected,thesystemonlyincludesrequirements
forthespecificorderthatyouenteredinthemissingpartscalculation.Here,youcanalsodefinewhetheryour
componentsarestagedatstoragelocationlevelviadirectstocktransfer,orusingstocktransferreservation.

Settingsfordialogcontrol
Here,youdefinewhichproceduresaretobecarriedoutautomaticallyinthepulllistandwhicharetobecarried
outindialogmode.
Youalsodefinewhetherthesystemistosaveacompletelogofallthemessagesandwhetherthislogistobe
displayedautomatically.
