1-Programme aims:
The goals of this program is making candidate able to make a proper diagnosis of
different Cardiovascular disorders to perceive and integrate progress in Cardiology and to
maintain and improve his standards of knowledge by self education.

2- Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs):


By the end of the Master programme in Medical Physiology the candidate will be able to:
A- Knowledge and Understanding:
KU1. Mention the normal structure and function of the organs related to the
.cardiology specialty on the macro and micro levels
.KU2. Discuss the normal growth and development of these organs
KU3. List the abnormal structure, function, growth and development of these organs
.and natural history of common diseases
.KU4. Explain the causation of disease and disease pathogenesis
.KU5. Enumerate the methods of promoting health and preventing illness
.KU6. Illustrate the scientific methods of establishing disease causation
KU7. Enumerate clinical picture and differential diagnosis of common illnesses
related to Cardiology specialty
KU8. Define the diagnostic and laboratory techniques necessary to establish
diagnosis of common illnesses related to Cardiology specialty
KU9. List the principles and fundamentals of ethics and legal aspects of professional
.practice in the field of Cardiology
