SNAPSHOT | Governor Daytons Water Quality & Infrastructure Plan

Building a Better Minnesota

Governor Mark Dayton has proposed a $219.7 million plan to modernize Minnesotas aging water infrastructure and
protect groundwater from contamination. Governor Daytons plan would allocate $167 million of his Jobs Bill
proposal to assist communities across the state that cannot afford to make critical investments in aging water
infrastructure. This snapshot breaks down some of the projects that would be completed under Governor Daytons
proposal, through increased funding for Public Facilities Authority grant and loan programs. This snapshot
illustrates the total funding that will go into each project, including the states share.

This is a partial list of cities that will benefit from the Governor's water infrastructure initiative through increased funding for Public
Facilities Authority grant and loan programs. Many more eligible cities will be identified in the future as environmental and financial
needs are assessed and cities put forward specific project proposals.
