Who can benet from Pay-As-You-Go Electricity Program?


The service is for residen-al electricity customers in the Texas
deregulated coverage area.

Q. Is there a credit check or deposit required?


A. No. Pay-As-You-Go requires no ID or SSN to get started. Whether
you have bad credit, low credit, no credit, or simply want to pay
as you go to avoid surprises, you can get started for as low as
$25.00.

Who is Payless Power?


Payless Power is the licensed Retail Electric Provider and their
pay-as-you-go product is called SmartTricity.

How does Pay-As-You-Go Electricity Service work?


SmarTricity with FlexPay allows customers to put money into an
account and, as electricity is used, funds are deducted. There are
no contracts or agreements. Your service stops once your funds
are depleted.

How much does it cost to get the service started?


$25.00

What if I pay more than $25.00?


Customers who pay $100.00 or more will receive a $0.04 cent
discount per kWh.

How will Payless Power keep track of my energy usage and


account status?
You will receive daily text messages and/or emails of your
current account balance, daily usage, and number of service days
remaining based on average daily usage.
How soon can my service get started?
Customers can get started one of four dierent ways:
1) Standard Move-In (3 to 5 business days)
2) Priority Move-In (24 to 48 hours). In most cases, if payment is
made before 2:00 PM, service can start same day
3) Standard Switch (30 to 45 calendar days)
4) Self-Selected Switch (Customer chooses the date)
*Do not accept cash or oer to pay on behalf of anyone. All customers are responsible
and liable for paying for themselves.

As an Epiq Rep, how do I enroll my customers?


Signing up for Pay-As-You-Go electricity service in Texas is a
simple 3 step process:

1) Telephone Enrollment Be present with your customer and
call into the Payless Power dedicated toll free number
1-877-578-2965. Be sure to give the call center specialist your
Rep Iden-ca-on Number (RIN) and then introduce your
customer (pass the phone). Your customer will then provide all
of the required enrollment informa-on. To ensure 100%
accuracy, please have on-hand a previous u-lity bill to reference
your customers informa-on.
2) Payment Op+ons Once the customer decides which product
and plan they would like, the customer can then pay over the
phone with a credit card or go to any one of the thousands of
ACE Check Cashed loca-ons across Texas.
3) Third Party Verica+on (TPV) Upon comple-ng enrollment
or payment, a representa-ve will contact your customer to verify
their informa-on and enrollment.
When will my Customer Points show up in my back oce?
Prepaid electricity customers show up within 24 hours.
