Mukki and Don trust Christ
Mukki * age 18, is a Native American. She came to
Gateway Irvington with her boyfriend in November.
Don is an 18 year old man from Guyana. Both were very afraid because of the strictness of her parents. She came in abortion minded. They had had a miscarriage together last year, but their parents were unaware of it. She viewed the Harder Truth video as did Don.
Special thanks to our friends at Ross, Anglim, Angelini
and Co, for blessings a few Gateway families with so many new gifts! Pray for Cathy Horling, a CPA at Ross, Anglim.
She has handled our payroll as a volunteer for the past
25 years. She is recovering from cancer surgery. Details may be found at: http://deansprayerrequests.blogspot.com/
Our faithful Thursday volunteers, Selom and Sarah
both spoke to them at length, encouraging them to trust Christ and carry to term. She left abortion minded but thinking. After losing contact with her, Sarah encouraged her to revisit Gateway. Don was asked what he would say to God when he appeared before Him. Thats a good question Don replied. He believed God would forgive him, just as a good earthly father would. He was challenged to ask for forgiveness and repent of his sins. He trusted Christ in mid-January. Mukki and Don were referred to Gateway-Elizabeth where they saw their baby on an ultrasound. She prayed to trust Christ and they have decided to carry the baby to term. Please pray as they share the news with her parents.
