greenlight,andthewindowsstatusis"Pluggedin,notcharging".I'verestarted,trieddifferentsockets,

Hihopingpeoplefindmysolutionuseful.IhaveanASUSUX32A,butamguessingthatthis
problemiscommontotheirZenbooks.Whenthelaptopisfullycharged,itwillsay"pluggedin,
fullycharged",unfortunately,somelaptopsjuststopchargingthebatteryandthelightontheplug
blinksredandgreenmeaningafault,andwillneverchargeagain.Ihavereadinotherthreadsthat
thiscanbefixedbyuninstallingdriversandunpluggingthebattery,butthishastobedone
constantly.OnmyUX32Athebatterywentdownto4%andrefusedtochargeatall,evenwhen
shutoff.ButIfiguredoutwhattheproblemwas:itisintheBIOSsettings,forUSBchargingwhen
off,andallowlaptoptogointolowpowermodewhenoff.ThesesettingswereENABLEDonmine
thedaytheproblemsstarted,andtheproblemsstoppedwhenIdisabledthem.Soitmustbea
bugintheBIOS.Ifyouhavethesameproblem,trychangingthesesettingsintheBIOS.

intheUEFIbios,andeverythingisworkingagain.Noideawhyitstoppedworking(thebatteryhas
done416cycles,with16%wearaccordingtoHWINFOhttp://www.hwinfo.com/).AnnoyinglyI've
alreadyorderedareplacementforitbutIguessthesparewillbeuseful.

8.Ifyoucannotbootthelaptopatall,ifitwillnotturnon,youprobablyhavetoopenthelaptopand
removethebattery,bootup,reinstallthebattery.Ifyoucanbootthebatterywillnotcharge,there
