DEVOTION: SEPTEMBER 27,2015

Consider the Poor Matthew 25:31-40

When the Son of man shall come in his glory,
and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the
throne of his glory: {25:32} And before him shall be
gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from
another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats:
{25:33} And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the
goats on the left. {25:34} Then shall the King say unto them
on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit
the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the
world: {25:35} For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye
took me in: {25:36} Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick,
and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
{25:37} Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee?] or thirsty,
and gave [thee] drink? {25:38} When saw we thee a
stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee?
]{25:39} Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came
unto thee? {25:40} And the King shall answer and say unto
them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it]
unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it]
unto me.

Reflection:
There is more to just physically being poor. Mayroong mga tao na bukod sa
nagugutom sa pisikal na pagkain, ay kinakailangan din ng spiritual food, which is
the word of the Lord. Ang iba naman, hindi nila kilala ang kanilang mga sarili, wala
silang identity kailangan nila malaman na anak sila ng Diyos at si Jesus mismo ay
namatay para sa kanila. Sa mga walang tirahan, kailangan nila malaman na ngayon
ditto sa earth they may not have much but once they get to heaven, they can share
banquet with God. For thos who are imprisoned, spiritually, those who are bound in
sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, anger etc., they need to know that Jesus can set
them free. This is far greater service in Jesus name. Syempre madali magbigay ng
limos, madali magbigay ng donation, pero yung time and presence yan ang isa sa
pinakamahirap na ibigay sa mga nangangailangan. At ang pagmamahal na yan
diyan nila makikita si Jesus.

DEVOTION: SEPTEMBER 28,2015

Give it Away Philippians 2:19-30

Honestly Lord, hindi ko alam kung ano po ang isang bagay na dapat ko i-give away. I
mean, hindi ko po alam kung ano yung isang bagay na I am holding onto. Siguro
ang naiisip ko po ngayon is the love of Christ. For so long, ang dami ng
magagandang ginawa ni Lord for me, pero takot at nahihiya pa rin akong i-share.
Siguro isa rin sa mga challenges is for me to let go of what I want the most. Pag
siguro nakita nila na sinunod ko ang will ni Lord, mare-realize nila that I love God
more than the earthly things.
Tho honestly Lord, hindi ko po talaga alam. Will You help me discern and search my
heart and convict me of that thing that I needed the most to give away and share to
others. Sa ngayon po kasi talaga, itall boils down to sharing Your word.
