was ready to implement the project in production
Was the on call person on the day of project go-live day and attended all
the weekend meetings to make sure the system was stable.

4) What are the responsibilities of "CORE TEAM" and "FUNCTIONAL TEAM" in an

implementation?

CORE TEAM: Consists of subject matter experts, company business process

owners/experts, end users representatives and super users.
FUNCTIONAL TEAM: is the team that consists of contractual consultants and
full time employees that implement this project most of these resources are
released after the project go-live.

5) Explain briefly about the last project you worked on. What was your role in the that
project?

In my current project I am working as a Lead Consultant for moving the OTC

and LE process of a group of HP products from legacy non SAP system to SAP
system. It is a HP global roll out for the countries USA, United Kingdom,
Canada, Mexico and Australia.
As a part of the functional team I am responsible for conducting workshops
with stakeholders for requirements gathering and drafting the functional
requirements documents. I am using SAP implementation best practices to
make architecture level suggestions and designing the business blue print as
well as reviewing and signing off the technical requirements document. I am
also working with the testing team to finalizing test cases for functional,
integration and User Acceptance testing. Configuring the SAP system and
writing requirements for the RICEF object development after the hybrid fit
gap analysis. Coordinating with the SAP Abap team for RICEF implementation
and testing. I serve as a point of contact for all questions and clarification
regarding SAP SD/LE integration points with SAP MM/WM/FI/CO and PI and
other questions related to the module.
I am responsible for handling the

6) Project management is critical to success in this role. What are some of the
projects that you handled in your current or previous role?

I have been handling project management tasks for last 3 positions that I
have held.

7) What was the tool you used to create a project plan?

I have used Microsoft Project to create project plan
8) Please describe the last configuration project you worked on.

My current project with HP is a full lifecycle implementation project. I am a

lead consultant for configuration of the sales and logistics execution module.
In this project I have configured sales area, sales documents, pricing
procedure, copy control routines, shipping point, shipping conditions,
delivery type, picking packing, goods issue, route determination, shipment
pricing, billing, contracts, milestone billing.
9) Please describe a time when you had to resolve an issue. What was the issue and
what steps did you take to resolve?

When I was working in Allstate as a senior consultant for one of the minor
release we had an issue in which proper change request was not created by
one of the consultant and due to SOX non-compliance we were not being
allowed to move the changes to production and this was a critical production
issue.
I accepted that as a team we had made a mistake and had
to write a request email to the director to allow us to make changes so that
we become SOX compliant and be able to move the changes to production.
The root cause of this mistake was a
communication gap between our internal release coordinator and the
consultant. I made sure that we include all the details in the internal release
guidelines for the team. Creation of Change Request was no longer an
assumption and was discussed it in each release meeting.
10)

What is one thing you are most proud of in your career?

In my current project with HP I am responsible for migrating pricing for some

of their products from an old legacy non SAP system to the SAP system. In
the analysis phase I found that the company was trying to replicate the exact
workflow from the legacy system to the SAP system. The current approach
was under utilizing the pricing features that SAP has to offer and would most
likely cause a performance bottleneck in future.
I created a proof of
concept in SAP sandbox to show that they can reduce their pricing master
data maintenance in SAP system by moving away from the price list concept
in the legacy system and implementing them as discount conditions.
I facilitated the required meetings between different stakeholders and
business process owners to accept the implementation change
