Establish connections
The playback starts automatically. Title number, running time and ID3 tags
(information about the singer and title name stored with the file) are displayed.
By shortly pressing the 9 or : button you can select the next or previous title
during playback. The display shows your choice. Keeping one of these buttons
pressed will activate the search (playback with high speed). If the desired
position is reached let go of the button. The playback will then be continued with
normal speed. The sound is muted while searching.
If the files are stored in several sub directories (folders) press the FOLDER button
in order to play the files in the next folder. The playback is then continued with the
first title in the selected folder.
If you know the number of the desired title you can directly call it up via the
keypad of the remote control. For a two digit number please press the +10 button
once at first. For a three digit number press the +10 button twice.
symbol appears in
the display and the title playing will be repeated when it has finished.
Pressing the button twice will start the A-B section repetition.
A is displayed
and marks the beginning of the section. Press REPEAT again in order to mark the
end of the section.
B is displayed and the marked section is repeated until you
press REPEAT once more.
This will activate the next type of repeat operation repeating all titles on the
storage medium. The display shows
ALL.
If you press REPEAT again all titles in the current folder are repeated
(
Folder). Pressing the button once more will stop the repeat operation.
Press the STOP < button to stop playback. In order to eject the memory card
from the device press slightly on the card. In this way it is released and ejected a
little from the device. Always stop playback before you disconnect the memory
media.
Radio operation
If necessary, press the FUNCTION button repeatedly until TUNER is shown in
the display.
For FM reception, you must totally pull out the pigtail antenna from the back of
the system and find a good position.
If you hold down the 9 or : button for one second the tuning down or up will
start to search for the next radio station with a sufficiently strong signal. The
tuning stops and the station is played.
If you would like to set a certain frequency you can do this via the keypad of the
remote control. The number must have three digits, i.e. if you would like to hear a
station at 99.2 Mhz enter the number 0992.
Tip: The manual entry only works if the sound is not turned off, i.e. MUTE flashes
in the display.

Store stations
The device has a station memory for 20 stations in which you can store your favorite
radio stations manually or automatically.
Manual station storing
Set the first station you would like to store.
Now press the 4; button. ON TIME is displayed. Press the 4; button once more
in order to enter the turn-on time.
The hour digits of the turn-on time will start flashing. Select the desired hour by
pressing the 9 / : buttons and confirm your entry by shortly pressing the 4;
button.
Now the minute digits of the turn-on time will start flashing. Select the desired
minute by pressing the 9 / : buttons and confirm your entry by shortly pressing
the 4; button.
Now press the 4; button. ON TIME is displayed. Press the ENTER button. Now
OFF TIME is displayed.
Press the 4; button in order to enter the turn-off time.
The hour digits of the turn-off time will start flashing. Select the desired hour by
pressing the 9 / : buttons and confirm your entry by shortly pressing the 4;
button.

Now the minute digits of the turn-off time will start flashing. Select the desired
minute by pressing the 9 / : buttons and confirm your entry by shortly pressing
the 4; button.
Select the desired signal source for the Timer operation with the FUNCTION
button.
After the device turned off at the preset time the timer remains in active mode
and the device will turn on automatically at the preset time on the next day. If you
do not want this to happen press the TIMER button in order to deactivate the
timer.
The preset times are stored and by pressing the TIMER button again at a later
point in time the timer is activated again.
Sleep Timer
The device can be set to turn off automatically. To do so press the SLEEP button until
the number of minutes (max 90) is displayed for which the device shall stay
turned-on. SLEEP is displayed. After the time expires the device turns off into
stand-by operation.
