Creative Beginnings for Parent & Me


Ages: 2 1/2 - 4 Years
Children participate in creative activities in a preschool setting with their
parents. Children will be introduced to colors, shapes, letters, numbers and
music while experiencing quality time with their parents and peers. Parents
attending each class must participate in the children’s activities. Enrollment is
recommended each session for continuing class development. Space is limited,
so sign up early. Note: Please bring a large towel and a paint shirt to each
class. All refund requests must be made on or before the first class date, or no
refund will be given.

Temecula Skate Park
General Information: The City of Temecula offers a state-of-the-art Skate Park located at 42569 Margarita Road. The entire park includes a concrete skateboard
facility, an official size roller hockey arena, picnic facilities, restroom/snack bar, equipment rental and plenty of parking. This one-acre skate park offers the
ultimate skateboarding and in-line skating experience. The park consists of a competition 60-foot diameter bowl and ramp entry. A 10-foot wide apron connects
the upper bowl with a street plaza skate area. The street plaza boasts a pyramid, fun box, curbs, ramps, stairs and a 20-foot handrail. The park is staffed and
open to the public for various sessions per day, 7 days a week. Special beginner sessions are also offered. The facility is lighted for night skating and can
accommodate a maximum of 30 skaters at one time.

All participants must have a signed waiver form prior to park entry!

Senior Nutrition Program

Meals On-Site: The Community Services Department, in cooperation with

program for seniors age 60+ and their spouses. Meals are served in a
congregate setting at the Senior Center. If you are unable to keep your

A complete forty-five minute workout using the water as resistance to firm, tone
and increase cardio-respiratory endurance. This is an ongoing class so you can

water only. For shallow water class, participants should be comfortable moving
around in 3 to 4 feet of water. The ability to swim is not required. For classes
held at the CRC Pool, Tuesday’s class will be a shallow water class and

Deep Water Aerobics


Ages: 12 Years - Adults
A non-impact aerobics workout in deep water. Wearing a belt creates “neutral
buoyancy” allowing participants to work muscles in the limbs and core against
the water’s resistance, resulting in increased cardio-respiratory and muscular
endurance. Other benefits are increased overall strength, flexibility and range
of motion. Participants should be comfortable in deep water wearing a belt.

• Mail-in registration forms will only be accepted during the mail-in registration dates indicated on the previous page. All registration forms must be
postmarked on the dates indicated for each session. Any forms received postmarked before or after the appropriate dates will be returned unprocessed.
• A confirmation receipt with your class level, time and pool location will be mailed to you once your registration form is received and processed. Due to popular demand,
please make sure that you have selected a first, second, and third choice on the registration form. Staff will do their best to accommodate first choice requests.
• One registration form per participant is necessary. Additional forms may be copied, picked up at the Community Recreation Center during regular business hours Monday-
Friday, 8am - 5pm, or downloaded from www.cityoftemecula.org
• All swim lessons for Temecula residents are $45 each. One form of payment (check, money order, credit card purchase) per participant is required. Single payments for multiple
requests (i.e. sibling groups) will not be processed. Cash may be used at walk-in registration only. Do not mail in cash. Make checks payable to the City of Temecula.
