Explanation
A.

Market Segmentation
First of all, the reason why we dicide to choose teenagers as our market segmentation is
because especially in Indonesia, the number of youth population is the highest compared with
other populations. So, this is already a great potential at first.
Second, most of Indonesian youth are very concerned with style appearance. They are willing
to spend money to purchase goods that can support their appearance. Indonesian teenagers in
general also very up to date on what is becoming a trend in the society. So this is what we
perceive as an opportunity to produce a fashion item that is mostly needed by teens that is
totebag.

Value Proposition
Before we decide what are those value pproposition of our product. We try to knowing first,
what are the trend and what our target market want and need or may be some suggestions about
our product. So we can more closer to the demand of our target market.

We do a survey, by spreading questionnaire to 50 respondents in some different places. So,


after we get the result, we try to make some analysis. (Please, see the ppt for the data of the
questionnaire)
So, based on the survey, we get some complains from the respondents. So, we start to
create several values that can solve those kinds of problem and support our product in the market.
Here are the list :
1. Ergonomic and Unique Design
Most of our respondents that have tote bag complaint about such as rope that is too long, so it
makes them feel uncomfortable when they carried by hand, because it dragged to the road, the
others complaint are about the size that sometimes to small, hard to find their items because
directly inserted if use tote bag, less safe. So, by these kinds of problem we come up with the
Ergonomic design that has uniqueness to make it look fancy but still thats comfortable,
suitable, and safety to use.

2. Color Style/Fashionable
Against style is becoming most of factors that influence teenagers decide to choose what kind
of bag that they want to buy. Especially in buying totebag, they feel bored with the style of
totebag in the market. Majority totebag in the market has old style with square shape and
thats it, theres no a uniqueness especially in the totebag design. So, we try to support our
totebag with many color style and try to design our totebag as fashionable as possible.

3. Brand
Now a days, brand is becoming one of the important factors that influnce teenagers in buying
a bag. Why? Because they feel trusted and very happy to have a bag which is becoming trend
in a society and we see that now that growing in the society is personal brand which is
homemade/handmade.
So, our product try to branding our product by giving it names I-bag to make our target market
currious about our product.

4. Free Water Cover


The other problem is mostly Totebag is made from fabric or material which easily wet when
exposed to water. So, against we try to solve this problem by giving our product free or
include water cover its like a shower cap but more bigger and it can cove the totebag from
water in order to avoid it getting wet.

5. Affordable Price
The next problem is when we choose a teenager as our target market we suppose to know how
is the range of their budget to buy a bag. By knowing this one we can set up the price that is
affordable to our target market in order to make them not think twice in buying our product.

6. Easy to Mantain
Last thing, our product is eco-friendly and easy to mantain. So, its doesnt require special
cares to mantain. With good quality of fabric will keep the durability of the bag in good
condition.

Channel
We decide to choose several channels in distribute our product like Retail store, website, and
social media in order to make our target market familiar and knowing our product and also make
them currious to buy it. Now a days Social media becoming really usefull as a media that we can
use to distribute the product. Why? Because mostly teenagers like to play with their gadget,,
when they playing with the gadget they like to open social media and look for what is the trend in
society. So, by choosing Socmed as one of our channel, its probably will giving a big impact to
branding our product. Lastly, we think that those channels will help us to brandstorming our
product and also as the media in which our target market can easily grab the product.

Customer Relation
In order to survive and compete with our competitors, we try to focuse on our customers. We
dedicate personal customers service in which the customers can 24 hours easily make a
complaint or suggestion for our product. Our customers service is more personal try to as closer
as possible to our customers. Its make us can create good environment and also good relation
with our customers.

Revenue
Our revenue is mostly come from sales but we also get some fee from the design if the customers
ask for special design from us.

Key Activities
The key activities that probably will be conducted in our company are :
1. Financing
Before all of prooduction until selling activities, one of the important activities is Financing.
Activities included are ranging from finding investors , budgeting , through funding activities
and financial statements of the company. So that the financial status of the company can
continue to be monitored from time to time.
2. Production
Start from choosing the raw material (check from the supplier) until finished goods.
3. Quality Control
To check all the process from begin until the last and to make sure all the process and the
qualities are in a good condition.

4. Marketing
After we produce our product we will sell it to the market and it will need some promotion to
introduce our product and also our brand to the society.

Key Resources
After we set up what are the activities that will we conduct. We need to start thinking about the
resources that we need to do the activities. Such as Raw Material (suppliers), human resources,
and also capital. That will support the company to run the production.

H.

Key Patners
We have some partners both direct or indirect that can help us from production, promotion, until
distributed the product such as public figure as media promotion, Goverment that will help
indirect protecting our product from foreign product by their rules and regulation also they are
suppose to support UKM, so they may support our product in the market.

I.

Cost Structure
Last but not least, after all of the activities we have to construct and set up the cost structure from
variable cost to fixed one. In order to know what are those things that will decreasing our
revenue. Also for knowing is the company making a profit or loss? If we are start to make a loss
we need to redesign the strategy and so on.
