2016 Republican Primary | Your Vote for GOP Precinct Chairman Early Voting: Feb 16-26 | Southwest Sub-Courthouse | 6551 Granbury Rd Election Day: Tues, March 1 | Southwest Community Ctr | 6300 Welch Ave Dear Fellow Republicans, Tarrant County is the largest urban Republican county in the nation. So goes Tarrant County, so goes Texas. So goes Texas, so goes the nation. Thankfully, there are Republicans like you who understand this and how important voting is. Together, we will take action, organize, and work to continue to ensure the Democrats dont turn Texas blue! To this end, I am requesting your vote to become your Republican precinct chairman. I will bring my decade-plus experience as a proven Republican activist and professional consultant getting Republicans elected to proactively serve as your precinct chairman and to work with each of you to KEEP TEXAS RED! Precinct chairs make up the most important and locally elected role in our county Republican Party. As you likely know, Tarrant County divides into hundreds of small precincts that form the most grassroots level of representative government. Our precinct (1264) includes fellow residents east of Hulen, west of Welch, south of Wedgwood, and north of Altamesa. Voters within a precinct elect a precinct chair to serve on the Tarrant County Republican Executive Committee; voters can also take the first step in becoming a state and national convention delegate by participating in their Republican precinct convention. Beyond serving as election judges and participating/voting in meetings of the Republican County Executive Committee, precinct chairs are expected to be and should be frontline political soldiers and activists. Correspondingly, precinct chairs are tasked to help Republicans win elections; they are supposed to recruit, organize, and train volunteers within their precincts; they should coordinate and supervise precinct volunteers during campaign season; they should execute get-out-the-vote programming; and they proactively must communicate to their precinct voters (you) about elections, candidates, and local GOP/political happenings. Its time Precinct 1264 has a proactive chair who does such. Your precinct chairs performance, passion, and proactiveness greatly impact the success, strength, and influence of our county Party. When you elect me as your precinct chairman, I will fulfill ALL of my duties, be responsive to you, and provide periodic updates to our precinct.

I grew up in Southwest Fort Worth. I attended Woodway Elementary,
Harvest Christian School, and Trinity Valley. I spent a lot of time in Precinct 1264 my grandmother lived here. A few years ago, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to move back to this very neighborhood, where I made so many fond memories, to make some more with my wonderful wife. Ive been involved in politics since high school when I served as Senator John Cornyns page and became a nationally recognized conservative student activist with Young Americas Foundation. My political passion continued to kindle in the midst of Leftist opposition at the University of Chicago. The College Republican chapter I lead there was honored as the top student group on-campus, and I received the Phillips Foundation Reagan Youth Scholarship for our successes. During and after college, I contributed to and worked with various Right-leaning and Republican organizations including the Cato Institute, the State Policy Network, the Republican National Committee, the Sam Adams Alliance, and, finally, the Leadership Institute as its Texas field representative training and empowering conservative activists and students throughout the state. In 2013, I founded JTD Strategies to empower grassroots politicos, to provide innovative public affairs and relations consulting, and to advance liberty from small-town city halls to international capitals. JTD is now an award-winning political and PR consulting firm with over 65 winning campaigns and projects to its credit. This last year, Red Alerts Politics included me in its 30 under 30 list of rising politicos on the Right. In Tarrant County, Ive served as a precinct chairman (1103), been selected as a state GOP delegate, worked as an election judge and clerk, and been a Tarrant County GOP Lincoln Council member for three years. In short, Im a proud, passionate Republican. I believe in equality of opportunity for all, not equality of outcomes. I support individual liberty. I advance economic empowerment through free enterprise and innovation. I despise big government. And I fight to conserve those truths we hold self-evident and to defend the Constitutional principles and freedoms we hold dear. I look forward to having your support and to have the opportunity to proactively and responsively serve you as your precinct chairman. My personal cell and email are at the bottom of this page. Please vote and dont forget, especially if you want to be a delegate to the GOP convention, that our precinct convention will be held following the close of Election Day polling (7pm) at the Southwest Community Center. For Liberty, Joseph Tex Dozier
