I hope my email finds you in the best of your health. My name is XXXXXXXX and I have recently
completed my Bachelors (BS in Electronics Engineering) from Department of Electronics Engineering,
University of XXXXXXXXXXX, Pakistan. My Senior Design Project was on Design and Fabrication of
Flexible Manufacturing System". In this project my group develop a prototype of an FMS in which
flexibility is to be provided in the material handling system. It is provided with a drilling station which
drills on a pre-marked dot on a work piece. A PLC is used to control the whole MHS. While to find the
co-ordinates of plotted dot on the work piece image processing is done on MatLab. My CGPA is
3.01/4.00.

Mam, I am keenly interested in carrying out research work in the field of "Networked and Distributed
Control Systems by ", for this purpose your lab and group proves to be a perfect place that can provide
me a chance of research and learning. I am extremely fascinated by your group.

I have also studied paper entitled, "Event-Triggering in Distributed Networked Control Systems Xiao
feng Wang and Michael D. Lemmon, Members IEEE" In which they proposed the a distributed event
triggering scheme, for the event-triggered data transmission in distributed network control systems with
packet loss and transmissions delays. In their research they successfully shows that if we assume that the
number of each subsystems's successive data dropouts is less than its MANSD, and if the transmissions
delays are zero, the resulting system is finite gain stable. If the delays are bounded by given dead lines,
the system is asymptotically stable. And those state-based deadlines for transmission delays are always
greater than a positive constant.

I am extremely fascinated by your Lab research and find it very kind if you share "Stability Analysis of
Networked Control Systems with Round-Robin Scheduling and Packet Dropouts" with me. I want to
carry out research under your supervision in this field.
