CD-ROM USER AGREEMENT
Warning! This is a legal agreement. It states the terms on which you may use thi
s product and contains details of your rights and obligations. If you do not agr
ee to these terms and conditions, you should promptly return the disc to John Wi
ley & Sons Ltd ("the Licensor") at Baffins Lane, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 1
UD, UK.
This copy of the original is your proof of licence. Please treat it as valuable
property.
1. The Licensor grants to the authorised user of this CD-ROM "You", a non-exclus
ive non-transferable licence to use the data on the CD-ROM in accordance with th
e User Manual [on a single terminal of a single computer in a single location at
any given time for your internal business use] only. The CD-ROM or any part of
it may not otherwise be copied, broadcast, transmitted, adapted, translated, mod
ified, or reproduced including on a local or wide area network. All other rights
are reserved.
2. You agree to comply with the Adobe Systems Incorporated End-User Licence Agre
ement, copyright and other proprietary notices that appear on or in the Adobe(r)
Acrobat(r) Reader Software contained on the CD-ROM.
3. The Licensor shall not be liable for any claim arising from:
* loss or damage resulting from omissions or inaccuracies in the data contained
on the CD-ROM regardless of how caused;
* any failure or malfunction resulting wholly or to any material extent from you
r negligence, operator error, use other than in accordance with the User Manual
or any other misuse or abuse of the CD-ROM; or
* the failure by You to implement recommendations previously advised by the Lice
nsor in respect of, or solutions for faults in the CD-ROM.
4. Except as otherwise expressly provided in paragraph 6, all conditions, warran
ties, terms representations and undertakings express or implied, statutory or ot
herwise in respect of the CD-ROM are hereby expressly excluded.
5. Save as expressly provided in paragraph 6, the Licensor has no liability to y
ou for loss of profits, revenue or goodwill or any type of special, indirect or
consequential loss (including loss or damages suffered by You as a result of an
action brought by a third party) whether such loss is caused by the Licensor's b
reach of its contractual obligations or any tortious act or omission including n
egligence arising hereunder.
6. Nothing in this Licence shall limit or exclude the Licensor's liability to Yo
u for death or personal injury resulting from the Licensor's own negligence or t
hat of its employees agents or sub-contractors or any other liability not capabl
e of exclusion or limitation by reason of statute.
7. This Licence may be terminated by the Licensor in the event of a material bre
ach by You of its conditions. On termination the Licensor will be entitled to de
mand that You return the CD-ROM to the Licensor.
8. No failure to exercise and no delay in exercising on the part of the Licensor

of any right, power or privilege arising hereunder shall operate as a waiver th

ereof, nor shall any single or partial exercise of any right, power or privilege
preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other rig
ht, power or privilege. The rights and remedies of the Licensor in connection he
rewith are not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law.
9. This licence shall be governed by and construed in all respects and in accord
ance with English law and You and the Licensor submit to the non-exclusive juris
diction of the English Courts.
