In my opinion, an ideal teacher should have the following criteria.

The criteria
should be fulfilled in order to become an ideal teacher. First of all a good teacher
is a teacher who cares about students development. An ideal teacher should make
a good observation about their students progress. If you cannot fulfill this
criterion you are already considered as a bad teacher.
The second criterion is an ideal teacher is always professional and objective in
giving marks to the students. Professional in this case is never bringing personal
problem into the class or wherever you teach. And objective means that you
should throw away your personal feeling towards for example particular students
when you giving mark to them, otherwise beside you are considered as a bad
teacher your students will judge you as a moody teacher or not professional
teacher.
The third criterion is student that is weak as the first priority for ideal teacher.
Some teacher prefers to teach smart student rather than the weak student. The
reason is because it is easier to teach them (the smart student). But in fact teacher
that makes the weak student as their priority is a good teacher and ideal teacher as
well. It is because the true essential meaning of teacher itself to make a student
that is lack of knowledge and ability to be full of knowledge and ability. In other
words increase someones ability from zero to hero.
Fourth, an ideal teacher is someone who never thinks about how much you
will be paid first, in another word dedicated teacher. Because if you think about
money first instead of your students will make the knowledge you teach no longer
make a sense. So, even if money is also important for your life as a teacher you
should think about your student first and not the other hand.
Fifth, an ideal teacher never scolds the students for any mistakes they are
commit. A good teacher or in this context an ideal teacher will not ever scolds
their students. Instead of that, a good teacher should tell gently about the students
mistakes and tell them right away how to repair or revise the mistakes. Moreover,
ideal teacher never directly pointed out students mistakes.
Sixth, an ideal teacher knows precisely how to face each student. An ideal
teacher supposed to know and understand the characteristics of each student. So
they will be easier to deal with them. For example if one of the student take more
time than the other to understand the materials you teach. Then you should be
more patient while dealing with this kind of student.
Seventh, an ideal teacher is a determined one. Being determined is really
important for an ideal teacher. And ideal teacher is not supposed to say A in one
time and say B in another time. So, your students will not make fun of you.
In conclusion, an ideal teacher is not about how many knowledge they have.
But it is about how they treat their students and how they make their students gain
more knowledge than before.
