Job Purpose
Is known for supporting line manager and stakeholders from both finance and the operational areas of the business with
basic analysis, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, accounting and project support across a variety of topics to support the
decision making process and help drive the financial success of the organisation

Analysis With guidance from line manager, based upon a clear


understanding

with value added financial/commercial analysis as required using a variety
of systems, applications and analytical techniques, ensuring output is

Manager Feedback

Budgeting Is responsible for the detailed Budgeting of certain aspects of


the P&L under guidance from line manager, liaising with stakeholders to
ensure buy-in

Cost Control Will be expected to manage certain cost lines on the P&L or
series of cost centres, liaising with Partnership services as required, to
ensure budgets/forecasts are met, producing relevant outputs as
applicable, to ensure stakeholders are fully engaged

Decision/Project Support Provide stakeholder and line manager with


financial support across a variety of ongoing business projects, which could
be financial or non financial in their nature, to help inform the decision
making process

projects are taken account of.

Management Reporting Will provide stakeholders and finance


colleagues with high quality value added performance reporting on a
weekly/monthly/yearly basis to inform the decision making process and
help drive the perform of the organisation

Stakeholder Management Supports Manager level stakeholders who are


generally non-financial customers, with their financial and
commercial needs across a variety of areas, developing strong
relationships to aid credibility of the individual and finance function

Essential
Graduate with 2:1 at Bachelor level (or
be on track for)

Desirable

Experience

Work experience in a dynamic consumercentric business, especially Online / Retail


/ FMCG
Industrial placement would be an
advantage
Minimum 1 years good work experience
ideally within Retail or FMCG
organisation
