Water Supply
It is proposed that a water storage tank with a capacity of 2200 m and a suction tank with a
capacity of 733 m is built to cater to the needs of the project. Water would be supplied by
Syarikat Air Darul Aman Sdn Bhd (SADA).
Electric Supply
Electricity would be supplied and distributed to the site by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB). One
unit of Pencawang Pembahagian Utama (PPU) and 13 units of substations have been
approved by TNB. The PPU and substations building shall be built by the Developer.
Demand on electricity would simultaneously increase with such development. The supply
would be sourced from a new proposed main Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) substation (Pusat
Pencawang Utam; PPU) on the site itself. Within the project area, 13 units of distribution
substations are to be allocated at different locations to supply electricity to the whole project
only.
Telecommunication
The telecommunication facilities for this area are under Telekom Malaysia Berhad.
Project Location
SME Kulim Industrial Park is located along the East-West Highway and about 18.5 kilometres
north-east of the Kulim town centre and about 42 kilometres east of the Butterworth town
centre. It is about approximately 10 kilometres from the traffic light junction leading to the Kulim
Hi-Tech Park. INOKOM is situated within 3 km of the proposed project site.
The subject property fronts onto the East-West Highway and is accessible from the Penang
Bridge via Jalan Tun Hussein Onn, Jalan Jelawat and the Kulim-Butterwoth Highway (which
forms part of the East-West Highway), all being well maintained metal roads.
