    FRESHIE NIGHT will be


    boomed on August 19 at the
    Convention Center spearheaded by
    the Student Council. Furthermore,
    therell be a Varsity Night this
    month.
    ALPHA
    PHI
    OMEGA
    trumpets their APO Week that
    will take place from August 15
    to 19 with the activities namely,
    Oblation Run, Adopt a Park Poject,
    Open Tambayan, Blood Letting,
    Thanksgiving Mass, PSSN Jr. Tree
    Planting (Scientific Names) and
    GK "Adopt a Child" Outreach
    Program at Wangal, La Trinidad.
    SIGMA KAPPA PI
    will
    conduct their Chapter Anniversary
    on August 16, 2011 and a Spelling
    Bee for Freshmen . On the
    other hand, SIGMA DELTA
    PI will celebrate their National
    Anniversary on August 8, 2011
    and an Impromptu Speech
    Competition for freshmen. In
    collaboration together, they will
    spearhead the MK - Kasama.
    PI SIGMA DELTA holds
    their FRESHIE Interbloc Debate
    on August 26. 2011.
    Paggawisan Tako Am-In
    (PAGTA) in partnership with
    the Student Council (SC)
    invites everyone to partake in the
    celebration of the Indigenous
    People (IP) Month where the
    following activities will be

    conducted: Opening Ceremony


    (August
    2),
    James
    Balao
    Commemoration
    (August 5),
    Forum on GRA (August 22-26),
    Forum on Ecology (2nd week),
    Film Showing (3rd week) and
    Instrument Making and Cultural
    Night (August 27); the venue will
    be on TBA.
    LEAGUE OF FILIPINO
    STUDENTS (LFS) will sponsor
    a Song Writing Contest on August
    26 (Opening Salvo) with the
    theme of "Junk TOFI Fight for
    Higher State Subsidy". The album
    will launch next semester. For
    those who are interested to register,

    TOXOPHILUS will open the
    3RD Archery Clinic for everyone
    on the last week of August.
    A Month Long Anniversary will
    be celebrated by the ACS (Alliance
    of Concerned Students) with the
    following activities: Week 1: Dance
    Aerocbics and T-Shirt Printing,
    Week 2: Foum in Cooperation
    with IP Cultural Desk (USC),
    Week 3: Food Sale, Week 4: 33rd
    Anniversary Celebration.
    STUDENTS-IN-TOUCH's
    CAMPUS DEVOTION invites
    everyone. Come for your daily
    encouragement
    and
    spiritual
    feeding every Tuesdays and
    Fridays, 7:00 AM - 8:30 AM at
    UPB Woods.
