An angel came to her and said that she would conceive the Son of God. She bore Jesus in
Bethlehem in a stable. She raised the Son of God.

She was old and had never had any children
Angel came to her husband Zacharias and said she would have a son.
He didn’t believe so the angel said he would be struck dumb until the child was born.
When they went to name him he was to named after his father Zacharias, but she said no
his name should be “John.” Zacharias wrote that his name should be john and his tongue
was loosed and he could speak again.

prophesied of his birth, he baptized Jesus in the river Jordan, Preached the gospel in the
wilderness, sent people to Christ to be healed, Herodias’s daughter requested that he be
beheaded while in prison and they did.

Anointed Jesus’s feet with ointment and wiped it with her hair, Had faith that Jesus
could heal her brother’s sickness , sent for Jesus when her brother got sick, weeping fell
at Jesus’s feet and said if you had been here my brother would not have died. Jesus wept
because he loved Lazarus.
The stone was rolled away and she watched Jesus call forth Lazarus and saw him arise
from his tomb.

Had faith that Jesus could heal her brother’s sickness, Met Jesus when her brother
Lazarus had died, she said to Jesus if you had come my brother had not died, but I know
he will be resurrected. Jesus said to her “Jesus said unto her, I am the aresurrection, and
the blife: he that cbelieveth in me, though he were ddead, yet shall he elive:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never adie. Believest thou this? “
She told him she did believe he was the Son of God.
When Jesus commanded the stone of Lazarus’s tomb be removed she said “he stinketh,
for he has been dead for 4 days.”
Jesus said, “Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the
a
glory of God?” The stone was rolled away and she watched Jesus call forth Lazarus and
saw him arise from his tomb.

Went to Pilate and asked for Jesus’s body. He bought fine linen, wrapped Jesus in it, and
laid his body in a sepluchre.

Jesus cast devils out of her, she stood at the foot of the cross while Jesus was crucified.
Found the stone rolled away from Jesus’ tomb and went to his disciples saying someone
had stolen his body. She went back and wept at Jesus’s tomb and then saw two angels
that asked “Woman, why weepest thou?” She said “Because they have taken my Lord,
and I know not where they have laid him.” She turned around and saw Jesus standing ,
and new him not. She then asked Jesus if he had taken her Master. Jesus uttered her
name , and then she realized it was Him. He bid her not to touch because He had not
ascended to his Father yet. She then went and told the disciples what she had seen.

Originally heard John the Baptist speak and followed him
Went fishing and were having no luck, Jesus urged him to cast his net on the right side of
the ship, he did and came with lots of fish.
Jesus bid him, “Come and I will make you fishers of men”.
Disciple of Jesus
Savior washed his feet
Jesus urged him to “Feed his sheep.”

He denied Jesus 3 times because he did not want to get arrested.


Through his ministry that the gospel opened to the Gentiles, he began carrying on
Christ’s work soon after his death.
He was crucified upside down.
He overcame his mortal weaknesses and grew strong in the faith of Jesus Christ.

Persecuted Jesus and people that believed in Him
Went to persecute people and saw a vision of Jesus Christ that changed his whole life.
He was baptized by Annais.
Thereafter he preached Christ’s gospel for therest of his life serving many missions,
accounted in the book of Acts.
