My outgoing personality, my sales experience, and my recently completed education make me a
strong candidate for a position as an insurance broker for California Investments, Inc.
I recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in marketing, where I was
president of both the Future Business Leaders of America and the Amerika Marketing Association.
Although a recent graduate, I am not a typical new graduate. I attended school in Michigan, Arizona
and Oregon. During my studies I did such jobs as radio advertising sales, newspaper subscription
sales, and bartending, all of which supplemented my formal education.
I have the maturity, skills, and abilities to embark on a career in insurance brokering, and I would
like to do this in California, my home state.
I have some questions in connections with the job. I wonder whether I will have any opportunities
for further training. I find learning an important part of my career and I am ready to attend different
courses to improve my skills. I would also like to know if this job involves travelling.

My name is Andrea Nagy and I would like to apply for the Flexible English language course. I want
to improve my language skills as I need native-like proficiency for my studies. I am doing a
university course in international relationships and for this course a high level of English in
required. I am planning to take part in a 4-month intensive language course with a special emphasis
on Business English.
I have chosen your language school because as an EU citizen, I am entitled to a 50% course fee
discount according to the advertisement. That is a great help, without it I would not able to finance
my studies.
I would like to get some information about the language school and the courses for international
students. Could you tell me what the criteria are for getting the 50% course fee discount? I would
also like to know whether it is possible to get accommodation and catering at a reasonable price.
